This is a drawing of Mum that my youngest daughter, Hannah, drew from a photo taken of my mother when she was 15. We made many copies to give to family at the funeral, and we put one in with Mum, she was always proud of the grandchildren and would have loved this.

Oh Gail, that's beautiful! It's fairly easy to copy from a photo, but it takes real talent to capture the personality, as this drawing does. Hannah should be very proud of herself, as I'm sure you are proud of her!

I agree with Suzy, you have to have a lot of talent to copy from a photo, talent I do not have but so admire. This drawing has a haunting quality, the eyes capture you and draw you in. Lovely work Hannah! Keep on drawing.
