Hi Anya, seems very quiet today. Just thought I would check back in.

Very quiet, must be the great weather we're having here!

Well it is cold and showery here. a dismal winters day. The last few days had been beautiful and sunny.

It's about 78, sunny, and no humidity!!! This is wonderful weather, next week, in the ninties and hunid, so everyones enjoying now, before we need to be inside w/ the AC

What have you been doing Anya in the lovely weather. Hope you have been making the most of it and been outdoors with a BBQ or enjoying your garden or a park.

Good evening/morning all! Been out since early this morning. They had a used uniform sale at my son's school in Albany and I figured that as long as I had to go all the way down there, I might as well visit some of the malls, summer clearance time! I didn't expect to be gone all day!

I've been fixing my pond, I've had a problem for a bout 2 weeks, today I found a broken hose!! So I had to replce it...meaning I had to desemble the waterfall, take out the old hose and replace it!!! Some of those rocks are heavy. But I was outside!!

Hi Anya and June! Nice to see you both! I didn't get to enjoy the gorgeous day today. One of the few days we don't have a sports activity!

As long as you enjoyed your trip and got lots of good bargains is the main thing Stella.

Hubby did get the screened room up in the back yard and put the picnic table in it. Now we can eat outside if we want. Anya, what is your avatar, my eyes can't quite make it out. It looks like a van gogh painting!

June, too many good bargains! lol Hubby is going to kill me! eek! We're supposed to be careful now, but oldest daughter is working in a bank for the summer and they require her to wear suit jackets. I found an entire suit for her for $23, which is a good price!

June, I'm sorry to hear that you are not having a good weather day today. We in Illinois have had cool (mid-60's F) weather with some drizzling. It has been cloudy all day.

Anya, would you like to be on the SA birthday list that Rola posted a few pages back? Some of us disclosed our age, but others were content to just admit to the date.

Julie, no, I've been missing as of late, I've gone through all the aniverseries, and I get a little down, so, I hide...but I'm back...

Anya, I grew up on LI. My mom, 2 of my brothers and my sister still live there. I grew up in Greenlawn, which is on the north shore in Suffolk County, in the township of Huntington.

Yup, she had her birthday a few days ago. I told her that it takes some getting used to, but really it doesn't feel any different then 40.

I agree, Anya. And 40 doesn't really feel different than 30. So, I guess that means 50 doesn't feel any different than 30!

my husband and i owned a house in Rocky Point. I grew up on the south shore, 10 blocks from Queens, Vally Stream. I still have a sis-in-law, in Islip, right on the water.

I think Rosemary's party was last night. Many Sudokuists(is that a word?) went to it. I wonder how it went.

My cousins live in Islip. I go down to LI alot to see my Mom. It's been hard for her since my dad died last July. My brothers and sister really help and I go down to give a hand.
