How old are your children.

my two are boys. and they are both almost 21 and 18

try and learn German (I'm sure you've noticed that my mothertongue is English!)

Hsve 3: boys aged 25 and 24, and daughter aged 22

The oldest was 21 three months before the youngest was 18 and they both had big parties at home. I employed daughter plus a friend of her's to help with catering, etc for son's 21st and that worked really well.

would you like to come here and do some catering..

#2 will be 18 om 19th July, #1 21 on 18th August

The 18 year old didn't want to do anything. will just have a family dinner with the 2 grandmothers.
the 21 year old wants a ''PARTY''

we have put down a deposit on a Venue for The Party,
we will need to get our act together soon and organise the rest of the The Party

Should add that I also employed oldest son and a friend of his to help with daughter's 18th - they did the music and supervised the drinks (very responsibly, which was a great help)
