it just occurred to me that you probably don't understand why I don't want to go shopping in the rain - I use a pedal bike as my form of transport, which means that I will get very wet!

Rola there is nothing to installing a dishwasher,you could do it yourself, just connect to hot water supply, put dishwasher outlet into waste pipe and switch on. Do dummy wash first just in case. Don't do what I did and put dishwashing liquid in, the bubble go everywhere!!!

Actually it was more than one bubble, it was several thousand, all over the kitchen, down the hall and out the back door.

Then the dishwasher goes in and he will just connect it..

I did a similar thing with the washing machine, I washed a bean bag, thinking that there was something inside the cover to keep the beans in, there wasn't. They managed to get out on to the lawn. Looked like snow.
