Just had a most annoying call from a Telstra man who wanted me to come back to Telstra ...... 'it's sooo cheap & we'll offer you all these great discounts' etc, etc, etc. Have to go put myself on the 'do not call register'

I don't even answer my home phone most of the time cos its either bad news or telemarketing that I cant understand!

Don't you just love the way the telemarketers talk - nonstop, don't let you get a word in, then (with this guy) present what sounds like a great deal. Yaarrgh! I almost hung up but then I thought maybe it was a good deal. i didn't agree to anything though cos H is not here. The guy even tried the 'well who's the boss in your house' tack. Yuck

I interupt them and say NOT INTERESTED and hang up on them...
and I also get the Telstra Man ringing wanting us back... grrrrr

I usually do hang up, but, I guess I was sucked in a little by the thought of 3 times the speed on internet, & $3 an hour for overseas phone calls. Hmmm, we know that that's probably not true!!!!

But I was not at all impressed by the assertion that I should make this decision about our provider on my own, because I was the boss, because my name was on the account. I mean, sure I AM the boss, but such an important decision needs to be discussed!!

OK, bye all - short & sweet from me today. It's too far to CP till the next top & I've got to go & cook myself some dins - is working tonight

My deck is wet, and my front grass is trying to green bck up somewhat, YEAH, I will take a little rain overnight. It proves WE WILL GET RAIN AGAIN, we will get rain again. YEP, I am shouting, cause it has been sooooo long since we had even a tiny rain!!
