Illinois (IL) is about in the center of United States, though it is called Midwest. It is on the east side of the Mississippi River, which runs north to south.

Do you think Topper pays enough attention to get a general idea where we live, then googles to get more information that would make us think he/she lives in an area we know?

I'm pleased he thought about it,Stella. No-one needs a black mark against his name as he starts out in life.

Didn't realize we were that close. We didn't have a party. It was only my inlaws and hubby's aunt that came. We all went out to lunch after the graduation and then opened gifts back home. Son went to his friends parties and inlaws and aunt left at 5pm to head home. 3 hour trip to drop off aunt and then 18 or so hours tomorrow back to North Carolina. Long trip for a short stay!

My family, which is very large, are getting together at the end of July to have a graduation party for my son, my sister's son and my brother's daughter, who all graduated from high school at the same time. We did the same thing last year for my daughter and my two nephews. This way we only have to get together once.

There is a Winnetka in Illinois, and I have been there MANY times. I am currently trying to search any other 'Winnetka.'
Wikipedia lists a Winnetka. The Winnetka is a suburb district in the San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles, California. It is bordered by Canoga Park on the west, Woodland Hills on the south, Chatsworth to the north, and Reseda to the east.
Still searching . . .

I think you're probably right about the research, although the initial conversation seemed kind of impromptu. Although, he could be like me and have 2 pooters side by side and do research on one and chat on the other!?!

Brenda, some people like being mysterious. There was someone who posted in the competition - I think it was a female who lived in Texas, but I don't remember the 'nom de plume' used.

He could be using firefox, which allows you to have different pages open at the same time on tabs, it is what I do when it is a little slow around here. Lets me work on one site while watching others

Do you want to hear something funny!?! When he first mentioned the track, I ran down my stairs and checked all of the kids computers because I thought they were pulling my leg. They thought I was crazy, but I had just shown them the website that day to show them the picture and the song. It wasn't any of them though!
