Hello again! I think we had another little shower overnight, porch and steps wet this morning, YEAH RAIN!

I have changed the photo on my page, I will be 'borrowing' some Not copy protected photos of Alabama, to introduce you to my area. This week's photo is from Birmingham, Alabama's largest city. About an hour drive from me, or more if rush hour.We try to avoid going back to Birmingham if at all possible. Take a look if interested.

BTW, the Red Mountain I mentioned in the note about photo is actually a big hill, by world mountain standards. But it is the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, probably way down at the TOES of the foothills heheheh Birmingham is in a dish shaped valley, and the hills sourounding it are high enough to make for interesting take off and landing at the airport.

Anyone else want to join me in telling and showing about thier little corner of the world? I was inspired by Wagdy Kamel, and my photos of my State can never equal the beauty and exotic value of his, but many of you never have visited, so, a cyber visit.

OH, ROLA, for your information, I have ordered my recliner. It should be here Friday Aussie time, I hope, would hate to wait till Monday for delivery!!

I have put a picture on my page of New York City overlooking the Hudson River on top of the Empire State Building. This is one of the pictures from a day tour of NYC with my kids, my sister's and brother's families and my uncle and cousin from Ireland. We did this last summer the day after my father's funeral because my father's brother and his son had to get back to Ireland. New York City is about 180 miles directly south of me.
