Stella, did my suggestion about pictures work?

It gets too hot here to leave the bulbs in the ground. Our climate is not really suited for Tulips. It is a Hit or Miss here if they flower.

You can also force them to bloom in pots during the summer months. Just place the bulbs (in a bag with a little dirt) and put them in the freezer for about 30 days. Take them out plant.

The bulbs are in MIL's fridge. It is recommened that they are in fridge for at least 6 weeks before planting.... I think I will go during the week next week, other wise it's getting too late in the season for planting....

I've done it both ways in the past. I suggested the freezer because you don't have to wait as long.
What color are you planting?
