My vegetable soup has green beans, yellow wax, butter beans, carrots, kidney beans, lima beans, onions, corn, and stew meat cooked in tomato juice. Easy to make a big batch and freezes well.

ROLA, we have a covered back porch, but it still gets wet. I tried to move it to the shop one day , Al voted against that.

Yes, she told me a bad asthma attack and 5 days in hospital, that is scarry. Breathing is not an option.

Rola, they're shaped like green beans, but are yellow and have a slightly different taste.

MyDutch Soup ; has lots of vegetable in, just ask MizT, told her in an email last week about the soup. Next week probably make Minestrone Soup. ohh maybe not, am away that weekend - a Long Weekend - Monday Holiday Foundation Day in West Aust. Going to some cottages with friends (8 of all in total) in the Hills about a 35/40min drive from home.. Boys can fend for themselves

ROLA, do you use fresh pumpkin for your soup? Your recipe sounds good, we here think of pumpkin as a fruit and use it for sweets. and it comes in a tin.

Our niece has the same problem almost every winter. She develops broncitis, then ends up in the ER with asthma.

Fresh Pumpkin. We use Pumpkin as a vegetable. Pumpkin Scones are nice.

I made pumpkin muffins, with NO FAT or egg yolks and whole wheat flour and other good stuff. a very heavy, dense, moist muffin, not light and cake light. We put raisions( sultanas?) or dates in it.

My pumpkin soup recipe doesn't call for vegetables. If I remember right the ingredients are pureed pumpkin, spices, milk and flour.

one of my friends comes from Canada, she makes yummy Pumpkin Pie.....

Fresh 'pie pumpkins' only available here around thanksgiving, November. In october we have the big jack-o-lantern pumpkins, but they are not good eating, stringy and tough.

Halloween is not really very big here in Australia !!!
We have pumpkin year round...

Hello one and all....Talking about food?? Well I guess we'll getting ready to party on the top level since Rola has it all decorated and I see so many comfy chairs around. I'll bring some cake and ice cream, as well as some bubbly. I am still celebrating folks! I must take a minute or two and thank you all for the many kind words, wishes, poems, you tube dedications that have come from many of you around the world. My day was made more special than thought possible due in great part , the many wonderful folks on this site. YOU .

Two of my kids have asthma. My daughter during her first year at college had alot of problems with it.

I have so many pages to try and catch up on that it seems almost impossible with all that I still have to do, so if my comments seem to be out in left field...now you know why. Have no fear tho, I'll keep commenting away, and finally make some sense I hope. Peace to all.

ROLA, halloween not a big thing? it has changed here recently, not much 'trick or treating' with children going house to house to beg for treats.
