Feel good story - a violinist left his $4.2 million violin in the back of a taxi and the driver returned it. He was rewarded with all the money the violinist had in in wallet, the promise of a 30 min concert for cabbies at the airport, and an invitation to one of his performances. Awww.

Now the question - who leaves a violin worth that kind of money in a taxi!!!!! Must be someone who talks to himself...

Wasn't really trying Mary, in fact if I had been a bit quicker, you would have been TOPP!

I got all excited when I saw there was someone to chat to, and got kicked out! Had to close all my tabs and try again. Our computer is not very happy at the moment..... bit of a worry.

Oh, there you are! You didn't come up when I refreshed!

Burma is awful! Everytime I read the stories it gets worse. Imagine being a survivor in the affected areas...

Heard about Broni... hopefully we'll hear later today how she is going...

Yes Mary... we're all waiting anxiously for news about Win.

News on Broni - through the surgery and all is well, though she is sore. She expects to be in hospital for 5 days.

Just a quick pop in to let you know that Cyn has tracked Broni down!!! I also had a message on my mobile from Broni this morning telling me where she is. She says the op went well but will have to stay in for a few days yet.
She is at Greenslopes Hospital.

Suzy, Gail, thanks for the info on Broni. Glad the surgery is over. Boy, docs seem to keep patients longer in Oz, here, an appendectomy is almost a drive thru surgery.

GET WELL SOON BRONI

Hi all - have posted an update on my visit to Broni today on Easy Page 5.
Rang 3 hospitals before I hit the jackpot with #4 - Greenslopes Private Hospital - one of the better hospitals around. As I said, I was going to visit my Dad's grave and that was only a few kms from the hospital.
Apart from being sore, she was cheerful enough. I told her I was there representing the whole site (particularly SA4).

Bless your cotton socks Cyn. You are a real trooper.
I am sure I speak for everyone here when I say thank you for being us! Any one of us would do the same thing for all if we happened to be the closest SA friend.
Once again, grateful thanks and on such a difficult day.

I get the feeling this site is no longer very healthy with all the sickness etc we have had here over the last few months. The wonderful thing is all the compassion every one has for all their fellow sudokuists.
