Good morning all! Looks like rain today! Hubby was supposed to go and pick up Bryana from school for the weekend and get most of Meghan's stuff from her dorm room, but he was scheduled into a meeting. So I will be going this morning. I don't look forward to lugging all the stuff down from the 8th floor.

It is a humid humid day today, currently 100% humidity and dew point of 60. It is going for HOT later, mid 80's, huumm, 29.5C degrees I think. Hot and humid, will have AC again today and would prefer to have nice dry breaze at the windows. So lucky to have AC, I remember summers before it was available.

I owe you all an apology, particularly Rolanda. For the past few weeks I just haven't felt like chatting. Bad news will shut me up and there was bad news at every turn. I've been here and even made a comment or two, but I've just had no desire to be sociable. Rolanda caught me once and even e-mailed me. Rolanda, I am heartily sorry for not having responded to you. Stella, I missed your birthday, but you got three fourths of what I wished for you. Maybe they can all be home this summer.
I sold some property that my mother left me, a building lot in a very nice neighborhood. Got top dollar. I still have the one next to it if anyone is interested.

June, the comment you made at the top of the preceding page is one of the best ever made here.

Ruby, I understand exactly how you feel and thank you for being so honest about it. It did seem for a while there that every time we logged in, there was more bad news and it did the same to me, made me not so keen to chat. If it weren't for this addiction I have, I would have stayed away myself!
I suppose it is indicative of just how big Sudokuland has become, with so many of us, it is likely that at least one thing bad and one thing good will happen every day. Thankfully the general tone of the place is such that there will always be a shoulder when necessary and a pat on the back when asked.
