Beautiful day today! Max had to be at his school this morning for band. They were leading the Arthritis Walk for the first lap. Bryana is home for the weekend and I brought about half of Meghan's stuff home. Hubby will have to get the other half when he brings Bryana back tomorrow. Even though she is staying until the 31st, she has to have everything out of her room by the 13th and she has to leave the dorm on the 19th and stay at a friend's apartment. I have to go pick up Brendan from school on Tuesday. I hope all of his stuff will fit into the car!

Broni, so glad you are home and feeling better! Welcome back!

Ruby, welcome back as well! Hope all is well with you!

Not a school camp Suzy, one sponsored by the Rotary Clubs...a freebie! Now that is something we couldn't say no to, no matter when it was going to be!!!

It rained here so hard Monday that the roads and ditches filled with water. Then the yard filled up and water was over my first (of two) steps. Water even got into the garage, which is a trick the car can't do. Then it was gone.

HappyMother's Day to all the Moms on this side of the date line!

We had a wild night, big T storms just north of us. Hubby said I slept through our only rainstorm, from 2 till 3 am. That recliner in the dome just got comfy and my eyes got heavy hehe.

Hope none of the members were in the path of this last storm, Mid west USA had bad weather yesterday. Lots of tornadoes touched down, 19 confirmed dead. A storm with that kind of history, yep, I will spend the night in the dome office, and be thankful this morning we did not need it's shelter.

MizT we are in the middle of a lovely period of weather. Temp today is 28C humidity is not a problem it's perfect for lounging around outside in the shade

MizT, don't know if it's the same storm, but we're under a tornado watch right now.

Hi Becky hope all is well with everyone over on your patch we see what tornados do on the news it shows them comming in it must be terrifing we get cyclones in summer in north Queensland but dont come down as far as us we get some wild but nothing we can not cope with

Ruby! I am imagining you lifting things higher and higher as the storm progressed, trying to make sure stuff wasn't damaged....

Gail, we probably wouldn't have turned it down either - but the timing sucks!

Suzy, it turned out nicely. Hubby and I got to go out for a lovely drive down the peninsula and when we got there, we were rewarded with a beautiful smile from our daughter. She had a brilliant time and didn't stop talking about it the whole way home, this from a normally quite aloof 14yo. The first words out of her mouth were Happy Mother's Day, I couldn't have asked for a nicer present.
