Hi Rolanda and June, getting better thanks. Went an saw my doc today and she reckons no infection would survive with what I am on. Must be tough because she also said that cotail of medication can make you very ill.

[hate sitting around in waiting rooms.........don't go to the doctor 'cause I don't feel well enough...makes a lot of sense!!]

Hi everyone. Weather here has been so good I haven't been on the pooter much all weekend.
Broni good to see you back, hope you aren't doing too much around the house.

I'm off to get my eyes tested. Distance vision is ok with specs but have problems now working on the pooter, so will have to get some reading specs. I tried varifocals a couple of years back but they made me feel ill after wearing them for a few minutes.

Hi Brenda - glad that the weather is good over there. Getting cooler here in sunny Queensland but mainly at night - the days are still warm.
One of these days I must google Stevenage to see where it is in the UK - to see if I've been near it.

Hi Brenda & CynB yes the days are lovely all the prediction of wonder when we will get some it is cooler at night but pleasant D2 says its really cold in Adelaide & yes CynB collecting smilies is very addictive I have a good collection for all occasions

Brenda - just checked out Stevenage and the closest I've been to it is Hemel Hemstead. Hubby's grandfather came from west of there and we went to visit some of his relatives there.

Good morning all! Busy weekend since Bryana was home. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Now trying to find a place to put all of the stuff that the girls sent home. I'm picking up Brendan tomorrow with all of his stuff. Ugh! The rest of Bryana's stuff won't be coming home until the 31st, so at least that gives me a little time.

Broni, do they have you eating yogurt to balance all the antibiotics they are giving you? That happened with my bil and dad. The docs forgot to tell them to eat yogurt and they both got very sick. My bil was young and strong, but it almost killed my dad. Hope you are doing better!!

Thanks Stella, no they did not mention that, I will get some tomorrow. About to head off to bed these meds are really knocking me about but I am improving and moving about a bit easier now.

Al cool start for myday today, I like it! Weather forcasters say ENJOY, we will probably not see this cool again till fall! It was about 50F, 10C this morning, lovely temp !

I've just got back from eye test and doing some grocery shopping. Temp outside is 25C no wind and no cloud. I'm planning on going into the garden to sit in the shade and maybe do some work out there...or not depends on how I feel.

CynB.. Hemel is about a thirty minute drive from Stevenage, my husband used to work down there for the first couple of years we were married.

Hello Everyone, Hope all is well where ever you are. Lots of wild weather around here last night and most of today...rain, high winds and cool tempts. Trees downed and flooding caused many problems for the folks, lines down from fallen trees have left many without electricity. We're lucky where I live, while not far removed in distance, these problems don't usually affect us. I'm very thankful about that.

Bean,I think you must have passed that flu or whatever it is to my poor croupy lungs...lol
I too have respiratory problems and colds can really send me for a loop, and it seems that I'm into one of those now. Yesterday was difficult, but today I've not felt up to even getting dressed..and have been back and forth between bed and the pooter....every thing is a chore....but must hurry and get better since I'm suppose to be partying and this is not the way to have fun!!!!

Rolanda...I took a gander at your pictures and I must say that you have taught your son well. Not only was it great to have him cook...but he know's how important it is for the food to look good too, and boy did it look good! Yummy!

CynB....Fingers can't stay crossed, but sure hope you have success this time with sincerly intersted folks.
