Hello everyone. I sure miss a lot here lately. Life keeps getting in the way. Today, Amber and I went to Grand Forks(half hour drive from my house) for a Sparks day. We had 16 Sparks(5&6 yr olds), 2 Brownie helpers and 1 Guide(Amber) helper. There were my girls, girls from GF and girls from Midway, another town in our District. They all had a great time making new friends and earning a badge. We also had someone from Search and Rescue come in and do the Hug-A-Tree Program(what to do if you get lost in the woods). Everyone, including the adults got a fanny pack with a big orange bag, a piece of pink faller's tape and a glow-in-the-dark whistle. All the kids got a colouring book, too. It was lots of fun and the weather was not too bad. When we went outside it was raining a little but they all had a great time anyway.

Oh, look, people. Maybe I'm not alone.

The message says there are 4 people in there... are we still there? are posts being made in our name in our absence? will we be blamed for obscenities and rude behaviour of our alter egos?

She is doing well. I'm trying to cut out a lot of repetition if she really doesn't need it.

d1 did 2 math tests recently. She 'forgot' to tell me the results of her advanced test at first. I got 'guess what mum, I got 93 out of 95 in the intermediate math test!' THEN she told me how she did in the advanced one. Hmmmm. Clever tactic that one.

I really should go attend this soup. There really is no excuse now is there?

Yep, ladies, I just tried looking at the Chatroom and got a run time error. Maybe Gath's trying to adjust the time.

Rena, apparently my niece is getting better at the distance studying thing. They said there is a trick to it and they are finally getting it..

Rena - re maths test, she got something like 34 out of 54. Weird number for a total, but they do that a lot.

Thanks Rolanda - I knew it was a lot of pages ago. The new pages seemed to be coming up overnight but I wasn't actively trying to do another TOPP.
Our ensuite is quite small and I feel that tiling it to the ceiling would make it like a cell! Yours is much bigger (by the pics).

I guess if I want a TOPP I should try getting here more often.

I'm surprised I'm still on top of the TOPPs.

What is it about teenage girls and cleaning their room????
