I think the colour of the tiles plays more of a part in making the room look bigger than the size of the tiles.

Savings are doing good. Must be time to add some more. Still not smoking.

Our white tiles are 330mm high x 125mm wide. A sandy colour on the floor to match the border tiles.

What do you think of a charcoal coloured floor tile, white wall tiles with a strip incorporating both colours and muted greens and blues?

And I intend to go to Melbourne to meet up with you there Rena.

I will definitely be in Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide. Can't wait.

We haven't renovated our bathrooms since we moved in - there are 4 different tiles in our ensuite, and 3 in the bathroom, reeealllly attractive....

Those colours depend on the size of the room. Would be quite startling

I forgot to mention that there are no 'strips', just different coloured floor, wall and baseboard colours

I think I would get some coloured paper and put it on the walls and floor to make sure you liked the effect.
