Mariana, what city/town is your church in?

i sing with the utah symphony chorus. it is the offical choir to our professional symphony. we sing in abravanel hall- which is a beautiful concert hall located in salt lake city. there is no denomination associated with it, which is nice as i get to associate with such a broad spectrum of people. but to answer your question tami- i go to church here in bountiful, a 4 min. walk from my house.

Susan - I saw this picture of a urinal somewhere in Europe. There was a fly glazed to the porcelan, and down near the drain. Turns out guys will aim for the spot and try and pee it down the drain. So this company makes the urnials this way to keep the bathroom floors cleaner!

Mariana, yes, I had to do a lot of unusual things while you have been gone. diabetes is only one of them. I just this afternoon removed a heart monitor also! and you have to be very special to get one of those!

all recordings are copywrited and by permission given by the utah symphony and opera board. i haven't looked to see if anything has been put on youtube. i should and will!

Mariana - your trip to Seattle for the Christmas holiday sounds so nice. I take it you'll be with your sister who recently suffered the separation?

I go back to the doctor tomorrow and let him see if I am OK. I feel a lot better, except for the tummy ache from the Blood sugar meds. I think he will decide leting me stay home and monitor everything VS going into hospital ws a good choice.

I'm going to a Christmas concert - not as professional as Mariana's...but I am really looking forward to it.
A high school girl who I am friends with is performing with the high school's Chamber Choir. Every December they have a weekend of Madrigal dinners where the choir sings after the dinner.

I agree with you MizT. People tend to feel better when they are at home.

VICI, do you keep index cards on everyone? Or just have an incredible memory? I thought about M's separated sister just the other day, but I had indeed forgotten she was in Settle.

I too have been thinking about her and wondering how she's getting along.

i am impressed vici! you and mizt are so nice to remember her. yes, i will be seeing my sweet sis. she was working as a CPA for washington mutal that merged recently with pj morgan. she recieved her layoff notice on friday. she feels really confident that she will find new employment quickly though. he soon to be ex is still an idiot, and she is now glad to be shut of him. she is very hopeful about her future, and is so "with it" that i am in awe of her. she has the boys in counseling, and is making quilts for them to help take the sting away that daddy left. last time i talked to her she was tiling her bathroom and thinking of plans for my mom's birthday. i think the true woman in her has been unleashed!

my sis was only with wamu for about a year. she was transfed to a different area about 6 months ago, so she had no senority. with being a cpa she has alot of opportunities available to her though. she really does feel ok about it. it is terrible timing though- i agree! why is it that layoffs always happen just before the holidays!

Mariana - it is so great to get this positive update about your sister! Sounds like her life is gonna be a whole lot better without her ex. Silver linings!

Yes, someone sent me an email about the fly in the toilet bowl - that part is great, it might improve the aim but it still doesn't encourage them to put the lid down.

Thanks Cyn, Teresa has had a few breakthroughs and she is doing the Landmark Education - Forum course next weekend then heading off to Perth for two weeks, should be going with her but note quite up to it yet.

What a shame Broni, you not going to Perth.. We could have had a great time together !!!
