running and guiding a tour daily
being the cleaning maid, the head chef and the kitchen hand..

Dont get me wrong..
loved having Rena and Amber here, and showing them my city !!
and would love to have more visitors !!

just not today, or tomorrow... maybe next week !!

Oh Rolanda - I was just checking cheap flights to Perth for today!

hope the flights are for next week....

you may find the hostess extremely tired, grumpy and difficult to get along with, if the flight is this week..

You sound like a kind and gracious hostess, Rolanda. I love having guests, but it is very tiring and stressful anyway.

I should go to bed soon. It's well after midnight and I need to get in practice feeding the calves first thing in the morning, while IH is visiting his family for Thanksgiving. That is his only job around here. After the group ships out to the feedlot on December 1st, the morning feeding is over. All!!!

I sympathize, Viv. My IH works out of the house, but seems to bug me every few minutes to help him do something or do something for him.

In re to the commode convo. While student teaching, a friend had a class of 5th graders (10-11 years old). The teachers had to pull all the boys into a meeting to tell them to quit playing fireman. They'd take turns trying to hit a corner of the ceiling in the bathroom.

I solved all of our bathroom incompatibility issues. Two of us live here, two bathrooms. I am not responsible for the cleanliness of his! I actually found him cleaning his today " I could not stand that nasty thing any more". Gee, takes me being sick and not ding anything in days for him to figure, that room is not self cleaning hehehe

BTW, kittie litter is in his bathroom, too!

Found our first cane toad for the season. He is now sleeping peacefully in my freezer.

Toad golf is a pretty popular pasttime here Broni. Couldn't play it myself though.

I read a story about a month ago about annual toad hunts. If I remember correctly they caught tens of thousands of the blighters.

Evening girls.
After much investigation it appears that hubby is only entitled to 5 weeks severence pay, not 20 weeks.
That will only go to the LAST remaining mechanic to be put off, according to the Industrial Relations Commission.

No toads or snakes here thank goodness. Had a lovely day and have posted a couple of photos of the area where we were.

Anyhow he is going to enquire about a motorcycle mechanics position first thing in the morning.
I have my Avon meeting followed by Christmas Luncheon tomorrow, starting at 11am.

Yes thankyou June. I am sure it will, he is not a man to sit still.
He went to the workshop this morning early to clean out his locker etc. and bring some tools home. He is going tomorrow morning early before he goes for this interview to get his roll cab which holds all of his tools. He has to collect this on a trailer.

Well hubby is home early after finishing his exam so I'm going to keep him company. We are celebrating as our tax return came through today!
