YOO HOO, where is everyone? I get up and dressed for a nice chat with the aussies, an not a one is in ight! DDon't make me talk to myself, it could get ugly.

One day to go till Rena and Amber get here. Their room's all ready and the house is tidy (let's see if it can stay that way!).
Hopefully, , by now my brother has picked them up in Adelaide for a one night sleepover!
He mentioned going out to a local Asian Restaurant tonight, so I hope they all have a wongerful time.

Gday Suzy, did you choose a lounge suite? How is hubby feeling now? A little lighter in the ATM card department!!!

I did a gail today. I have been to every furniture store in town, some of them twice, and a new lounge suite will be delivered Thursday. It's not the $7000 one we wanted, but it also isn't the $999 one we would have had to replace again in no time...

HI SUZY! I did not see you either one when I got desperate in my talk! I just MISS you guys!

Hubby also splurged and got a contact lens thing going. It seems to be going to take several appointments!

Ahhh, suzy, so happy about the new furniture. that is alwasy a big deal, I usually have second thoughts, cause I know no matter what, I shall have to live with it for a long while. Tell us about it!

Know what you mean MizT, I keep missing everyone! Especially since it has been hard to get computer time during everyone's final exams...

Not the best and not the worst is a good compromise Suzy. Hope you enjoyed your gail!

MizT, how are you feeling now? You certainly had a big day of running around.

It's blue suede - kinda sorta. It's all puffy and comfy, not sleek and classy, it has 4 recliners - 2 built into the 3 seater lounge/couch, and 2 separate ones. It was a floor model, $500 off the original price, then he knocked off an extra $100 and threw in teflon treatment (scotch guard), delivery and taking away the old lounge! Hubby's enthusiasm was offset by my comments about the $500 cheaper lounge that we were looking at in another store...

Gail, I figure if I could survive today, I can survive the long run! AND Yes, I have been to sleep already, slept 1 hour, + 2 hours, + 2 hours. I can function long term on 5 a day! and gee, have hours still stretching ahead for another sleep even.

My gail was fun - a magpie sat on the extra chair at our table. It wanted to share in the feast I guess. I took a photo, hope it worked out!

MizT, it's amazing how upbeat you always seem considering everything you are going through.. One of these days I will get a medal avatar for all those people who earn them - it would be yours today!

Gail, headlights comment was about no one was showing in my friends box! It did look kind of strange.

Oh Suzy, sounds like that suite was made for some serious TV watching, or viewing of movies! and you can morph right on into your old age, with the recliners!!

Serious relaxation planned for the lounge! I would have chosen a different colour, but hubby had his heart set on blue...

Oh, my light is out too!

Al and I had lunch out, what I call a car picnic. too sunny and bright to want to sit inside ( if seating was offered, even) but too windy and brisk to want to sit in the outdoors. So we happily sit in th e front seat of th auto with a fantastic view of the train tracks, complete with a fast moving freight train to watch hehehe.

I rang back home today and spoke with Bill and Mum. She's having a lot of trouble sleeping and wasn't having a great day. Apparently she got up this morning but didn't want brekky as she was feeling nauseous so she went back to bed. She said she got a bit of sleep then and had a little something to eat (drink really, I put her on to those breakfast drinks that are like a cereal in a box drink). She has ulcers on her legs and unfortunately, they are not healing.

I am with your hubby, I would have chozen the blue lso. OH, what other colors were available??

We have 2 recliners and a puffy sofa. sofa is grey, in a bruched fabric they call goatskin, a synthitic that wears like iron. recliners are blue. Guess who's turn it ws to choose color when we got the dofa?

You and Al sound like hubby and me! We are happy to go for a nice drive, then sit in the car and admire the scenery! When we lived in Adelaide, a favourite pastime was to drive to one of the roads surrounding the airport and just watch the planes take-off and land! Fascinating hey! When we were back over there in July, we did it for old times sake (watch the planes that is!)

That's hard Gail. But those drinks are a good idea - lots of nutrients in a small space. Do the ulcers give her a lot of pain?

I am imagining a medium smokey kind of blur, sotell me what shade of blue is it?

Yeah, they do Suzy. She has been taking Panforte at nights and paracetamol through the day.

Gail, ulcers are so hard to heal, I am sorry to hear that! what part of her leg? Were they caused by pressure of bed on fragile skin?

I would have chosen a burgundy type colour MizT. But I like blue too so it wasn't hard to compromise.

Ouch Gail. Does she have one of those creams with pain relivers in them too? There's nothing worse than chronic pain! Well, nothing that I have experienced to date anyway.

I don't know how to describe the colour MizT. I'll see if I can get a good photo of it when it is delivered...

Gail, we are people watchers and what better place to watch without being watched hehe. there was a couple waiting on food, this was a take away BBQ place, and they were mighty touchy feely. ahh, young love, or raging hormones, not sure which.

Just re-read your comment about watching the planes take off Gail - glad you clarified what you meant!
