They are on her shins MizT. Being older, her skin is paper thin unfortunately. How she got them in the first place is a bit of a tale and a little yucky so I wont go into the details, suffice it to say the ulcerations themselves were caused by the removal of the dressings the doctor first put on Mum's legs and it tore the skin slightly.

I love people watching! One of my fav things to do. Whenever I am in a food court, I make sure I sit where I have the most view of as many people as possible!

So sad about Jane's brother, isn't it. She will be spending Thanksgiving at his memorial service.

Well, Gail, I certainly hope you did it also! and watching the planes is something I did with my Dad and siblings many years ago. He would time it so we saw them in the afternoon so sun was not in our eyes, then stay into dusk and see the lights come on, it was fantastic'1

I love people watching too, but my last 2 attempts were ... a deterrent? First the siblings fighting, then the young hoodlum who seemed so nice!

Ebob just told me about a game she played at lunch - piggy back wrestling, girls vs the guys. She piggy backed a girl friend, and there were two guys. The ones being piggy backed 'wrestled' each other. The girls won... hmmm.

I think it was yesterday she mentioned about his passing, and today she was able to post before leaving to attend the service.

Ahhh, Gail, any tear of the skin is enough to get one started. What have they tried for healing? There was some innovative treatments being tried a few years ago, wonder if any proved successful?

Sniffling here. I have to leave for a while. Ebob has gymnastics and I don't think I'll make her walk the 5 or 6 km to get there. I hope you will still be around when I get back!

Suzy, we do not always see what we want to see when people watching. and things are not always what they sem.

I think she had an allergic reaction to the tape that was first used, so not really anyone's fault. One of my sisters also has the same reaction, an itchy, red welt. While my sister was over there, she changed what was used for the dressings and there seemed to be an improvement. Now, the district nurses are doing the dressings, but unfortunately, it is a different nurse each time, so they really have nothing to compare. Bill says it's not healing well though.

I should be about suzy, if you go straight there and back again'!

And now I must leave for a while too. Please don't think we are doing a mass desertion, MizT, But I must fling food.

HelloAll....Its almost 2 in the morning and I can't sleep for coughing and wheezing....This congestion is difficult...but I don't feel sick...must give the doctor a call in the morning to see what she says....not too much I can do that I'm not already doing...
I've posted my SF pictures finally, but forgot to size them so some are large..I'll get around to resizing them later...I don't feel like being bothered now...

Gail, Angel is absolutely wonderful...bright, inquisitive, crawling all over the place and trying to walk...she sings and plays patty-cake like a champ....She is just a pleasure to be with....Reina is doing well too...thanks for asking and thinking about us...
