MizT... Thanks for the invites, but I have to remain here to care for animals.
I'm only a 15 minute drive from Interstate 65, though, and I believe
a little over 4 hours from Huntsville Alabama. I'm not that close to Murray, KY... probably 3 hours. To spot me quickly on a map, draw a straight line between Louisville KY and Nashville, TN. I'm 1/3 of the way down from Louisville.

There are still areas in Tassie that aren't effected by the tumour disease and around here is one of those areas but now the juvenile are out on their own and have very little road sense and are been run over by vehicles.

Good evening all.
Broni, I don't think SA7 ever goes completely to sleep. There is almost always someone around.
For me, the best part of thanksgiving is watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. about 15 years ago, Macy's filed for bankruptcy protection. When Federated Department Stores wanted to but them, the bankruptcy judge would only allow it if the parade was kept.

Have taken Bella for a walk and she found every puddle to play in again today, at least we missed the creek. Just put a couple more pics on my page including the bedroom suite.

I love the bush orchid too. I have one in my front garden but it doesn't flower. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with it, but not a single shoot in 5 years...

Have millions of them Zusy and everytime they flower they create another plant. The flower only lasts a day, Ian missed them flowering by a week when he was here.

Broni, my mother told me they are hard to kill, which is why I think she gave me this one, and I haven't killed it, it's green and lush, but no flowers. Sigh.

Come to think of it, my grandfather's orchids have only flowered once since Mum gave me those, and that was just after she left. Hmmmm.

Hello lovely SA7 people - having a bad day - heavy rain last night caused a problem with our power. We are waiting for an electrician but think we have finally isolated the problem. We were trying to sort this out from 11.15pm until 2.30am. Just great! Looks like water got into our 'waterproof' switch for our outdoor lighting.

Hi Julie, Suzy, Broni, Tami and eaa
Suzy/Nola - I saw those purple tomatoes recently. Thanks to you Suzy, I know the benefits of them. I'll give them a try next time I see them - but the purple colour will be difficult to overlook. Hmmm!
