Be nice for you to have some time to relax.
Hubby has just gone to bed here and so has Ethan.
Ethan works tomorrow from 10am till 4pm and then at 5.30pm he is going out with a couple of his mates to a bodyboarding movie.
I am cooking this turkey we got when we bought the new fridge tomorrow. In the wood stove outdoors so I am hoping for a coolish day.

The free Coles magazine had an interesting recipe for mushroom and maccadamia stuffing for a turkey. Made me want to buy a turkey just so I could try it out. I put maccadamia nut in my Plum Pudd.

I had intended to go to Melbourne but unfortunately I will not be there. I will phone them and have a chat though. Steve is a nice chap and the flight would have been spectacular.

Evening all! Home again. Ally rode about 8km today - even after missing part of the ride with a puncture. Then we went bowling. Then she had time to have some dinner and a shower before heading off to practice for tomorrow.

I heard her sing - it was bootiful! Kicking myself in the butt for doubting her!!

Good Maen dear ones!
How cool that Steve took the Canadians on an aerial tour! What a guy! I want to go when I come to visit!
Bean has been working on getting her cooking done for the party later today and has stayed up WAY too late. Hopefully she is in bed by now.

CynB - sorry to hear about your grandson's rough trip...I can so relate. Didn't use to get travel sick EVER, but now am not good to travel in back seats on windy roads. Makes me GREEN! (and I don't mean ecologically friendly!)

Everybody!
Got the feeding done, now to have brekky and lock the dogs in their crates. The lady-who-helps-me-with-the-cleaning will be here in less than 1/2 hour. As soon as she leaves, I have a Vet appt. for Mason. She is seriously itchy all over. I think it's an allergy.
Oh... the Microwave beeped at me. My tea is ready.

Heidi, I'm trying to decide whether I'd rather your cup of tea or cleaning lady. Nup, the cleaning lady wins. I'm off to bed now - big day coming up. Have a good one.

There is no possible way that I can do all the farm chores, household chores (cooking & laundry) and still have energy left for cleaning. So I get once-a-week help. A dose of reality.
Now to read the posts I missed.

Just popping in for a quick hello - then off to have C-PAP machine (for sleep apnea) adjusted - to the highest setting this one can go to. If we need to go higher (gasp), it requires a different machine.

OOPS - manners, Julie! Hello-o-o-o-o, Fellow Sudokuaholics!

Suzy, great to hear about the girls! There's so much I needed to comment on, but CRAFT's disease is at work again. Hope to see you all later!

Susan - soooo pleased for you that you will get to see your son for 3 months!

Hmmmm if I had to choose between coffee and a cleaner what would I choose? My first reaction is the cleaner of course, but then I imagine a life without coffee...

Julie, my grandfather had sleep apnea. I assume the machine is for you?

I remember how my grandfather was diagnosed. He was in hospital for heart surgery. The day before the surgery a nurse from the ward that deals with sleep problems walked past his room. He didn't get the surgery.

Haven't left for the Vet's yet. I'll leave in 15 to 20 minutes. He's only 5 miles away... the other side of Magnolia. A quick drive.
FIRST... some hot cocoa to warm up with. I always get chilled when napping, yet I don't when sleeping for a longer period.
I'm convinced that IH has sleep apnea, but he won't get it checked out simply because I told him to.

Morning Heidi.

We always thought my grandfather invented power naps, and it was awful staying in their house because the walls shook with his snores. That was probably 20 -30 years before he was diagnosed. I don't know if the snoring had anything to do with it, but boy do I remember it!

Morning Tami.

It's awful isn't it? I think the people at the other end of the street knew my grandfather snored! How did my grandmother sleep??

I found out that I will not get my car back until the end of next week, at the earliest. Other than that, all is good. With everything else going on in the world, I can't feel to bad about my car. It can be fixed, the lives in Mumbai can't be and the survivors will never be the same.
