I think I shall make dresing this weekend, and I can measure as I go for you. OR e-mail my D#3 , we di that last year when she was here, so she cold make cornbread dressing as her offering at her partner's family gathering, Said they make that disgusting white bread stuffing and a holiday was not the same without cornbread dressing hehehe.

You will need

Yellow self rising cornmeal if possible

Vadelia sweet onion, very large

Celery

Rubbed Sage and poultry seasoning from the spices section

the best richest chicken or turkey broth you can find. having a roast chicken sometimes previous helps, or having some of the frozen broth left over from your last bird hehe
Fresh ground black pepper or at least a NEW container of pepper.

some good oil for sautée ing the vegetables

They are having lunch in Melbourne. I rang about 20 minutes ago and spoke to some of them. Gail, Rena,Amber, Kate and Bean. Gail had done herself proud with the meat and there were some lovely salads brought by others.
I have now given the woodwork it's second undercoat!
Off to see MIL.

Had I known you were gonna call them June, I would have asked you to remind them that I was going to video call. Oh well...guess it wasn't meant to be this time.

Afternoon all!

I'm finally home and get to have just a few minutes here before hubby takes over for his studying... I think I might be having a nap this afternoon!

Yipee! Finally got a call through to Chez Cockatoo and got to visit (full screen) with the gang there. Met Steve (Vdv) and his son, Stephen. Met Rena and Amber...then chatted with Gail, Lizzy, Bean, Pete (Bean's hubby) and got a wave and a peek at Kate.
It was wonderful and everyone kept talking about how much food they were eating!
Now I'm off to bed - but wanted to let you all know that the party is going strong.

One final note: Sadly, I was the only one in tiara and boa!

Glad you got through Vici. I had met most of them when Gail had the party for Broni. It would have been a great party.

oh man! i'm missing tons here! i will have to do a bit of catch up tomorrow. i just didn't want you all to forget me, so i'm dropping in real quick.

I got to see a few of the guests myself, just before Vici did! I met Steve and his daughter and his son, and talked with Amber a long while, Liz for a bit, and Bean long enough for her to tell me to bugg off, cause I was messing with Vici's incoming call hehehe. I could see them although they could not see me, Still waiting for the web cam to arrive, will be Monday or Tuesday .

We have rain rain, and lights just flickered, which woke me. back to beddy bye here in a bit.

Pete took a few and will post some once they have been downloaded. We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed meeting Rena and Amber. We even managed a little sunshine. It was good for Pete to chat to Vici...she has met the rest of the family and it is time they met [in view of our phone bill!!]

Rena had her hard drive with her and was able to show us a lot of photos from home which was really wonderful to see. I hope that isn't the closest I ever get to Christina Lake or even Canada for that matter.
