I don't think she knew her fate, but cows don't like change. It rarely bodes well for them.
Now I NEED to go clean that trailer!

Ahhh, Heidi, you mean you do not put your cows in the trailer and take them for Sunday afternoon rides? Just so they are accustomed to riding in the trailer?

Heidi, if you wash the trailer near the garden you will have liquid manure! (But hope the next blood tests show up some simple problem and everything is OK)
Good to see you eaa Do not think you have bee around for a few pages.
Rena, like Tricia says, just read the last couple of pages and tell us what you have been doing! You must be getting excited with your trip getting closer.

Suzy, the rain seems to have stopped so might get in a game of social bowls! Then will pick up Sharon and Laura for a few more days. It is mainly so Sharon does not have to do things for Laura.(Laura is in daycare Tues, Thurs, Friday)

June, it is still raining here, though lightly.
I'm guessing Sharon isn't allowed to drive which makes it very hard when you have children.

Good Morning SA6,
Hope you are all well, Heidi good luck with the tests.
Starting to get exicited about Ian and Anne coming up here. Pressure washed the decks on the weekend and I have lifted half the paint on our deck we used a friend who is a "Clayton's Painter" , well at least it is cleaner.

Glad you are going in soon, Heidi...yeah, Suzy, pretty sneaky of her to use an emergency vehicle so we'd all pull over - hehehe!

INPUT APPRECIATED!!!
Dear ones...I just posted some picks of the baths that I did a few walls in colors. The aqua one is nice and subtle, but the pinkish one is quite bold and I'm worried it's a bit too much. I've always been a bit of a "beige" person...not too skilled with color, either on the walls or in clothes. I mostly wear black...keeps it easy! Anyway, the marble in the master bath is beige and taupes with a very minute vein of the cranberryish color running through it in some tiles. I don't think I'd be so flipped out about how bold the color is if there was a door to shut. But the arched doorway from the master bedroom reveals it all! I'd appreciate some input. I'm seriously thinking of taking it down a notch or two. Many thanks!

Vici, I LOVE IT!
That looks absolutely brilliant, once you put the finishing touches, skirting boards, towel rails and vanity in it will look fantabulous! Do not change a thing but that is only my opinion.
Zusy, probably should explain to the topsiders that 'Claytons' is a non alcholic mixer drink. There tag was 'the drink you have when you are not having a drink'. Thus the crack about our painter!

Vici, I love the colour too. Very very bright and cheerful. Being a beige person myself I know where you are coming from though. My input would be to live with it for a while after the other fittings are in, and if it still feels too bold for you, then tone it down. And I know it is harder to repaint once you have fittings in!

I'm officially here by the way - empty house!!!
Well I think it's empty.... About 5 minutes after Ally left I heard the front door slam. I went all around the house looking for someone, and there was noone there.... ♪♪♪twilight zone♪♪♪ I'm hoping she just forgot something and came back in and out without telling me.

Thank you so much Suzy and Broni for your input. Mike says to at least leave it for a couple of days...but I was thinking I would have to see it with the vanity and mirror and all the marble to really know how I felt. Much of the larger painted area will be covered by a vanity and mirror.

I have to go fling some food. Fired up the oven because we have cooled off enough here to do that - yeah!!!
I make a mean corn casserole...think it's kind of a midwest or southern type dish - and SO easy!
1 can kernel corn, 1 can cream corn, 1 box Jiffy corn bread mix, 1 cube of butter, 8 oz. of sour cream...mix it all together and bake - DELICSH!

No Vici, converting my engineering degree into a diploma of education - trying to become a high school science teacher!
I'll have to write down that recipe and give it a try - though I don't know if I can buy corn bread mix here. I'll have to have a look. I know I can buy polenta...

Definitely more satisfying Rolanda, and all I have left to do is the write up from my last prac, and one more prac!!! So I just have to write about 3000 words, teach for free for 4 weeks, write something about it, and then I am done! Other than the handstands you have to do to work for the dep ed of course!

Vici... my opinion, for what it's worth, is to bring out that beautiful view from the window. The pink clashes with it, the aqua accentuates the view. Also more restful to the eyes. But I am biased. I detest pink.

Heidi I tend to be a bit conservative but that pink could look startling with the right accesseries. What will you put on the windows and what coloured towels? Put up a abstact print on the wall if you have the room.
Th aqua looks a bit grey in the photo.
If unsure print off a photo on plain paper and add your accesseries, ie a bit of white cloth for towels , silver paper for mirrors etc and see it you like what you get.

Vici,I have a lot of antique furniture although the house is "70's"
The two spare bedrooms are a bit more modern to give me some contrast. But do you like the colour you have chosen?
My artistic daughter was going to paint inside her house with a deep teal colour. I suggested we start with the spare room and bathroom which look fantastic but she quickly decided she could not live with the house all that colour!
