I'm up from my 5 hour nap, and already feel like I need to go back to sleep. I'm getting so "tired" of this. I've got lots of work to do, and am only getting the bare minimum done. I hope I get some answers soon! Especially the answers I want to hear!

BOY, I thought I would never get back. First, I could not get on 10-12 here.

THEN we had to go to bank and post office, now how can that take 3 hours? WELL hubby kept on with "while we are here" I did get lunch out, and it was yummy! Mexican restaurant we enjoy visiting. Then he needed nails, so a stop at hardware store, and he needed ciggies, and had to buy gas, OH and ANT spray. A stop at the grocery for beer and coffee. Pick up a prescription, one of my regular meds, nothing new going on.

when I was in the bank, I felt something stinging my foot, looked, scratched, could not see anything. Fore I got back to car, doing it again. Put foot up on floorboard of car, and really looked closely, nothing, BUT there were ants in the floorboard. OK, off with both my Crocs, and found ants in my shoes. Get those out, and we go on to next stop, with me holding feet up! Hubby buys ant spray and kills all the nasty ants in the front, my hero. THEN he starts to put package down in the back and OOOPS, ants back there also! Seems they are getting even with him for mowing down their nest, but they mistakenly bit ME instead hehehe. Ants move inside hunting water this time of year, inside anything. How they get up and into an auto I have not figured out, only thing touching the ground were they are are tires.

At least the car is better than when they moved into my CLOSET and I did not know till I had ants in my pants! OK, trousers for you Brits and Aussies, but by any name, not a good place for ant bites!! .

Vici, being bold is not me it was JD, he had these visions of how it should look and the colors he chose scared the cr#p out of me! But it always worked and I would not change any of it except I need a kitchen reno which we were planning, but without him here and the probs others have had it will wait till I am ready.

Morning MizT, you have had a busy day, was wondering where you were. Time for you to put your feet up and rest.
Looks like we will have a nice time on Saturday with Ian and Anne, Nola from Bunduberg will be down and is coming, Danstell (Andrée) and her hubby Peter will be there and K (Kerrie) has accepted. I also have my friends from Noosa staying with me that weekend so should be a good mix.
So can anyone tell me how to put videos up so you can all see and hear us?

SUZY, I really do not like ants, I go to great lengths to avoid them, but they find me anyway. Yes, I did get the pants on and yes there were ants on the inside, but it was the ones inside the shirt I noticed first, they bit first. Now ant bites leave blisters on my skin, not fun and very itchy.

My knees were not so around my ears. People driving by could not tell I had my feet off the floor. good thing we were not going far, though.

You really want an ant story? When I stepped in a mound of them cutting grass, many years ago when I was young and could move?

Heidi, did you have a virus at all recently? It is starting to sound like CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).

Well was so not meant to go to work today! Car broke down at the roundabout just down the road, have been waiting for roadside assist to come and tow me to my mechanics. When the driver asked him where to put the car, my mechanic gave him directions to the scrap yard eeek!

Poor Broni.... rotten day. You definitely need a hug.

I finished my walk in 3.5 hours, resting for a bit, then I will shower the dust off ready to take the girls to bowling. They have to pre-bowl as they will miss the league on Friday night.

MizT, at least you didn't do what I did when I was around 5. Sat on an ant hill at my grandpa's farm. Thought it was odd that there was a pile of sand in the back yard.

Well since it seems I'm here alone I'll tell you about my walk....

Spring is definitely in the air. There were flowers blooming everywhere! Beautiful!

Because it wasn't as hot today as last week, the friendly neighbourhood dogs greeted me on my round, barking their brains out while wagging their tails. I talk to them all, though my friend who always gets a pat wasn't there today. Anyone following me around would think I was a loon. I came the closest I have yet come to a dog bite today. This little thing that didn't even reach my knee jumped up and tried to bite my hand but couldn't reach.

I saw a teenage girl sunbathing in her front yard. I was sooooo tempted to go up to her and say 'want to see my scars?', but decided that really was crossing the sanity/insanity line...

Suzy, funny thing. I didn't get one bite. Mom took me over to the pump, stripped me down and ran water from head to foot.

Quick thinking! But still surprising that you weren't bitten. I have started wondering if people who have allergies send out some kind of bug-pheromone as they seem to be bitten far more than other people.

Must be. I had a student that was allergic to bees. Every spring he got stung and taken to the hospital. Everyone around him was left alone.
