Move the "Report this comment as abusive" button
Hi Gath. Would it be possible to move this button to another spot? I regularly click on that instead of the "More" button. I think my eyes are shot (which is why I got reading glasses - now if I could just remember to bring them up to the computer!), and I'm perhaps also careless when clicking through. Maybe I'm the only one how does it, but I get worried I'm going to end up reporting someone when I don't intend to. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks Gath!

Wow Mon, what shall we report on this page now you have already said it! I do the same thing actually and wonder why I am looking at the report page. I've lost my glasses that is my problem...

Hi Mon & Andre,
Where would you put the 'Report as abusive' link?

Maybe an extra line on the bottom, below the time/date, or under the "send to a friend" button". Would that work? Thanks for considering it Gath.

I've done the same but in a different way. When I am reading I tend to move the mouse pointer to the edge of the text, out of the way, then I scroll with the wheel, at times I accidentally press the wheel right on the 've' of 'abusive'. So moving it further to the left would help me too.

Not sure where you would put it as it lines up neatly on the page unless you put it on the left hand side.

That's a brill idea André. Swap the 'abusive' note with the date stamp.

Perhaps have the "abusive" link in another colour?

Perhaps switching sides AND another colour would be helpful for those of us who have accidentally reported a comment as abusive (including one of my own comments).

My suggestion is to move it right under the poster's name. With the link being posted on the right, people are clicking on it while they scroll down the page. If the link was moved to the left side, it might be clicked on when people would mean to click on the More link. The links color changes from blue to black when the cursor is placed over it, maybe this link could change to red.

Hi Everyone,
OK - how about this.
When you click on the 'report as abusive' a popup box appears which asks 'Do you want to report this? (Yes/No)'. You can then click 'No' if it is a mistake & keep going.
How does that sound?

That would work Gath for me anyways. I usually just press the back button to get away from the abusive report feature.

Switching with ''send this to a friend'' sounds very good... plus the y/n question equal double protection as for both command you have to decide on the next step before it get send. Report by mistake never happend to me yet but I can tell you that it's the most read sentence of the site...just because it's in the right spot! Thanks Gath for this user friendly site...
