Hi Gail

My name is Tricia and I am a sudoluaholic. My daughter introduced me to sudoku. She sent me two medium to tough sudoku puzzle books, because she thought I was doing sudoku. Said she was SURE I was doing them and talking about them! Decided she must have dreamed it.

When I "retired" to just answering his phone and taking messages, after he started working from home, I had no neighbors to have coffee and a chat with, I was a bit lonesome. So I signed into AOL and found message boards. Wanted to know how to make a compost pile, and found the gardening forum. I have chatted and visited and learned and talked online ever since.

So, of course I turend to the computer to learn how to do the Sudoku that daughter had introduced me too. Like Gail, this site came up first for me. (Gath how do you keep it number 1 on the search engins??) Been here ever since. The "last to post" contest is what really got me into chatting and making friends and all the fun, and from that came SA 1-5. I have been here ever since.

Gail, why didn't you tell me you had an A3 printer for sale when we were down there. My A3 is on the blink because Ken put the wrong ink in it.

Dare not comment on men as patients ... v close to putting him out of his misery (JJJoyce). He's lying here next to pooter and usually he just imitates the keyboard clicks (his way of joining in I guess, poor pooter widow that he is) but 2nite says its hard to sleep with my clik clicking away ....

Yes June, the gossip is fab, especially after a day of toddler talk! He's a sweetie but man, do i long for normal chit chat or what after spending all day fighting power struggles

MizT was in there tidying up after our night's silliness! She's a good woman.

BEXTRA, we sometimes "clear the board" after a chat, make sure all comments that might be a tad private, have scrolled off. I was SINGING in there hehe. Ole McDonald one verse will clear the board nicely with nothing left over.

Other times, someone will post they are in the chat room, and sit waiting for others to show up. You can be doing other things in Sudokuland while waiting, if you open a new tab.

You should have dropped right on in. I could have stopped singing and chatted a bit.

OK, another load ready to be hung out. I am feeding the machine, YUCK. I hope hanging laundry will attract the possible showers (OH, what a typo I had to correct, would have banned me to the naughty corner for sure. I had put a P and an I as first 2 letters in possible, would not want THAT kind of a shower) this afternoon. I would sacrafice a load of clothes for a nice rain again, or else I must water my containers!

Gail, cannot believe you left a Topps so near, espically after noticing you were in at 1600! Divisible by 40, do not even need a calculator for that sweetie. Oh I forgot, it is late there and bubbly was consumed in chat. Never mind, I can believe it now hehehe.

Often its a lot of girl talk...or goss, but we are also hear to vent, or just be silly....a good place to come to get away from 'baby convo, tired/sick hubbies or typical teen convo of yep,nope...or whatever'...Glad to have you join us....and CPing or Topps racing is always fun!!!

Anyone here love hummingbirds? My sister who collects anything hummin g bird, and watches them and photographs them, found this websight. she sent the link to me, Amazing photos of humming bird eggs hatching up till the babies fly.

A horse and buggy just trotted down the main road near us! Just when I thought I'd seen everything! The road has an 80 kph limit so there was a bit of a line up behind them.

Although I have been away on a short holiday, I've also been busy (bad time - end of financial year). Will try to keep up better because I've missed slipping in here for a chat. CB's Domestic tip - cleaning the toilet is so much easier abd breezier when dressed as a french maid, wearing a tiara, playing 'Bolero' loudly in the background and wielding a hot pink toilet brush.

Hi Rolanda - if all goes well (fingers, toes, eyes and legs crossed) we may be in Perth in August. We finally have an definite offer on our business and it should settle on 1st August. We are hoping to fly over mid to late August, spend a few days in Perth, hire a car and drive to Busselton (where I have a cousin), go to Margaret River and Albany - and all places in between.
