Morning all! Dreary day here! One more day of packing then I take D1 to Long Island to catch her flight on Wednesday. We'll stop by my mom's to visit and see how she's doing.

MizT, I would love to taste some of that jam. It sounds delicious!

Time for breakfast. Catch you later. Have a great day/night everyone!

MORNING SULOKULAND

morning coffee is on, and added another jar of plum jam, anyone wanting breakfast.

Busy again, I have another batch of plums ready for jamming. After I do the normal morning chores, might try it again today.

Mizt my mouth is watering with the anticipation of tasting that plum jam. We are going to be unlucky this year as we don't seem to have any fruit on our victoria plum tree, though we do have pears on the pear tree (not sure what the variety is)

Hi all...I'm just jumping in to say that I've missed everyone since I've been getting Sully ready for his surgery tomorrow.....we've seen many doctors, stopped his meds, no food until after surgery, and headed for a good night's sleep. He will be in the hospital for 10 days, and then more rehab after coming home. He's in pain now, and to add to his pain , he slipped and pulled a muscle in his leg thats setting him in fits. Otherwise he's ready and in good spirits looking forward to getting past this....Me too!
Happy holidays to all...travel safely and return well rested. Peace.

Mamacita, I hope Sully's surgery is a success and that he has a speedy recovery.
Rolanda and June, I hope you have kicked your colds by now.
Stella, what color is you bruise? Not so sore now, I hope.
MizT.'s plum jelly gave me the craving. So I visited a friend who has a plum tree and was given a bag. Some of them actually made it home with me. Delicious!

As long as the strong winds we had here today are not up your way next week I will definitly be on your boat Broni.
My cold has improved a lot and I was able to play bowls today (we lost).
I hope you are feeling a lot better now Rolanda as you seem to have had your cold for ages.

Baz has done it again! He has stirred people up on easy. Because he isn't around as much (at least I haven't seen him) the newbies don't seem to know that he loves to stir people up.

Hi, We have had our hottest day of the year today. It got up to 30C though we had a slight breeze which kept us just a little cooler. Pity I have had to work much of the day inside only going out during the time the gardener was here providing him with cups of tea

Maybe he was feeling inferior so had to resort to imply that people lie about their times. To be honest I envy people who's brains allow them to work the puzzles out so quickly, it would never cross my mind that they were lying
