But Hubby going to Vietnam in a couple of weeks time so I will get the washing then. Hope you are soon completely back to being A1.

June, I used to work with a guy who took every suit he owned with him when he went on business trips - even if only overnight - and got them all dry cleaned on the company $. You could hint to hubby....

I won't do it in case someone has already sent a message, but if noone has Cyndi's email addy, she might have her page set up to have private messages sent there...

Just absolutely poured rain here.
Had to take son to work in it.
Now one of us will have to go and pick him up at 9.30pm.

Had a good 'Christmas in July' night and even better when I won the meat raffle.
Might now go and have an early night.

Good morning all! Meghan arrived safely! She got in at 3:30am and called me on skype. (9pm my time) The hardest part was getting from the Cairo airport to the apartment. The taxi driver was scarey and then she had to walk 2 blocks with her 2 suitcases, backpack and pocketbook. The 12 1/2 hours at the Heathrow airport must have been hard as well. She didn't eat anything the whole time. She didn't sleep the whole trip, so she was very tired. I'm just very glad she made it ok!

Gail, I hope your head cold clears up quickly!

June, I'm glad your toe is feeling better. Christmas in July sounded fun!

Suzy, I wouldn't give each guest $100 certificate. If they are playing any games, you could give little prizes to the winner, like a cd or something your daughter thinks the girls might like.

Rolanda, glad your son made it home safely! I missed where he went. It must have been somewhere exciting to be the best time ever!

Elise, 9:30 isn't so bad. It's when they have to work until midnight or 1am that it's a pain in the neck!

Broni, I have not heard from Mama, but I did send her a sympothy card to her e-mail address, and she has opened it (I get those little notices from the site) So, we know she has been on her computer at least.

The gift certificate comment by hubby was tongue-in-cheek. He was trying to find a way to express his frustration at the way these girls are treating d2. I have 'prizes' for games - twister, egg toss, statues.... For the goodie bags I have knitted a bunch of mocks (mobile phone socks) and put the usual lollies etc in them.

MizT, I am glad to hear that Mamacita may be reading some of the posts sending her thoughts and wishes even if she isn't up to posting herself yet. I hope she and her beautiful family are okay!
