Don't get Chase into a children's art class - I would try for a gallery art class which takes older (teens & adults). He would not learn very much in younger class and his talent needs to be expanded - he is very gifted.

He needs to learn more of the basic techniques which is why he needs the beginners class. Once the basic methods are mastered then the world is his oyster.
