5th of January 1974 in Wagga Wagga it was 45*C! That was saturday on the Sunday we came back to Sydney on my man's motor bike (a BSA) & it poured with rain from Lithgow to Sydney!

Me too! We got married 3rd January 1976 and it was 40*C! The wedding was at 11.30 am and by 2 all the men had lost their jackets and rolled up their sleeves.. including the groom!
