Well there you go. My ignorance is showing, I didn't know they are real. Ask me about any Tassie bird and I'll probably know it. The mainland is a whole new world I want to explore with my hubby in the next years.

I think it got it's name from a racehorse named 'Drongo' who had a habit of going the wrong way in races. This bird is certainly no drongo as it is a very skilled aerialist catching insects on flight.
