One of my better attempts posing with a statue.  All I can say is that it's lucky for anybody seeing it that there's no audio.

Youtube- Julian Bream and John Williams playing my favorite piece of music, Claire de Lune, by Debussy.

It's hard to tell which one was worse, his playing or my voice.

Good Maen Keith, & thanks for letting me know about your reply to my puppy question. I sense that Gath must have other projects besides fixing the Sudoku site. I miss getting e-mail notices when I have new messages, but at least we still get the notices on the puzzle page.

Keith, I have already unclicked, clicked, & hit Update Details several times to see if I could somehow trigger the e-mails to start again, but no luck. I seem to remember somebody else commenting one day that they were no longer receiving e-mails either. It's not a big deal. I usually log on to sudoku at least once a day anyway.

Hi Keith, I really enjoyed your photos. The built heritage and cultural icons of the long settled areas of the world is something I never cease to marvel at. My niece is moving to Norway soon and I'm hoping for an invite to visit! Thanks for sharing your holiday.

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the visit, sorry wasn't trying to be difficult/smug...... flannel/flannelette & a dainty Australian native in black & white - some people want B&W!!
Love to see you both again some day - man has been to USA & Canada for work & wasn't happy when he got home.
Maybe when he's retired he may change his mind!!

He was doing work from home (here in Australia) for 2 companies over there, but they wanted him to see them over there. It was a waste of time as far as he was concerned because they already had all the technical detail from him, anyway. That's why he wasn't happy!
He's 6'3inches tall (but skinny) & he traveled economy so his knees were some close to his chin, which didn't help!!
But one day I'm hoping to get him back over there when he's retired!

This is copy & paste message about the Sudoku Easy Jigsaw Problems:
They went wild after one of Gath's changes. If you go back in the beginning (15th May 2005) & check the photos in the archives you'll find that the only jigsaw is the torso in the black jumper with the white coffee cup, you'll find that photo as the jigsaw on every Easy Sudoku page up till the 12th of January this year. I did comment on this earlier this year, but I'm usually commenting when no one's around!!!
I'd say the photos we're getting are the ones from the Easy pages that don't have a home any more! And the off sized ones are possibly the very early reward photos for finishing the Sudoku!
So I think we just have to accept that the Easy Sudoku jigsaw is going to too big or very small, more frequently than being a good size!!

Hey Keith I did the jigsaw easy for the 27th and the 26th and the one on the 28th for good measure but they all were the same uniform size and I was able to complete the jigsaws. I work from a iMac, maybe that makes a difference.

In response to your comment about the 'easy' jig saw - the easys are always too big. Wish they would fix them! The rest are OK so why not the easy.

Hi Keith. There certainly is still an awful lot of work to do in Christchurch, but they are so resilient that carpe diem must be their mantra. When I get organised I'll post a series of photos that shows their ingenuity and positive attitude. They are certainly not sitting on their hands, moaning 'woe is me'.
