I'm afraid I have been AWOL for quite some time....I have to hang my head and admit I have been stalking FB in my absence from Sudokuland. But I am starting to think that it is hardly worth the time. So I have RETURNED!!!!

Hello Meg - thank you for your comments about my photos.
Albany was actually settled two years before Perth as we were a convict settlement. The old gaol is still there as a museum and the Residency where the main person in charge of the convicts resided.
It would be lovely to meet you and show you around.

Hi Meg, I noticed in today's Easy that you and your hubby were off to a Jag Club run today. I also notice in the comments at the top of your page that you have a fondness for Siamese cats. You have hit on two of my great passions.
During my time on this earth I have owned three Mark V Jags and an E Type. Great cars. Also, until not so long ago we have always had one or two Seal-Point Siamese cats around the house. We have always loved their company. Unfortunately, after the last one died we decided not to replace him, mainly to leave ourselves free for caravanning - another of our passions.

I meant to mention that there are photos of my Jags in my photo gallery. I also have a photo of one of our cats somewhere which I will post as soon as i can get to it.

Anne and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip in the Ghan. We flew to Adelaide and flew home from Darwin after a couple of days just touring. The train journey was fun, we chose the second shift for our meals which gave us time to socialise with our fellow passengers in the lounge before the meals. The meals were well prepared, tasty and not too big.
I can recommend it.
