I raise Red Angus Cattle. I also have 6 horses, 10 Alpacas, 1 Collie, 1 Collie/Aussie cross, 1 Catahoula Leopard Dog, 1 blue heeler mix, 3 other mixed breed dogs, 2 Keeshonds,  chickens,  barn cats, 1 Turkey, and LOTS of caged birds. And a few fish. Once a zookeeper, always a zookeeper.

Hi Heidi. Happy 60th! Took a peek at your Photo Gallery. Your new haircut looks great! On THIS birthday you can say you look younger, not older!

for my colorful and animal-flavored wishes! I share your love of animals, so we are pretty upset that the last dog of our lifetimes will soon leave us. My grandkids all know your name, as I tell them about you every time they view and handle my Golden Cowrie! and best wishes to you, too!

Just for your info, Gath also created PM's to allow people to air their concerns privately rather then drag the issue onto the site. This was because of crap that took place in the olden days. Many people solved and forgot their differences using PM's. They forgave and forgot, became friend and weren't 'gun shy.' You shouldn't let old issues live on. I'm sure that everything was probably meant to be sincere when apologies were issued by the person your referring to. Maybe it's time to move on Heidi.

Oh Heidi, I do know what you're going through! Can't believe that I could get pneumonia for the first time after I retired, away from exposure to every ailment a child could bring to school. Two months into my retirement, I get what I thought was a cold on a Wednesday, sick as a dog on Thursday, high fever on Friday and ER on Sunday. Hmmm, I know I'm not too smart. If I had seen a doctor earlier, i think I could have avoided the hospitalization!

Actually, it was funny, the doctors thought I had meningitis and put me in isolation. Hey, at least I didn't have to share a room! Peace and quiet, except when the local vampire woke me up 5 AM to get my blood! Ugh. Anyway, do be kind to yourself and give yourself plenty of rest. If you like reading, for fantasy - Kevin Hearne (about a 2,000 year old druid), Debora Geary (modern witches), for science - Andy Weir (The Martian and new - Artemis), Michael Crichton, Issac Asimov, , for historical fiction - James Michener, Diana Gabaldon, Amy Tan, Jean Auel. Okay, I'll quit but I loved them all!!!

for the Birthday wishes, Heidi! I am participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count this weekend. Have you ever done it? It is fascinating! Anyway, there is no place for me to record my spice finches, so I did it elsewhere! I see that there are close to twenty people in my area who have reported seeing these little rascals, so they need to add them to the birding list! LOL! Thanks again!
