Hey Broni, I'm a rock girl really but I think some good ole blues would be pretty good right about now!
Fancy that, you being a Melbourne girl. I'm hearing you about the cold! I have the combustion stove going non-stop through winter but this year, I even had it alight for a couple of days this month! Ah Melbourne, four seasons in every day. If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes!

And I always thought it was wait a minute if you don't like the weather It's sure to change!
One of the best things coming back to Melbourne was seeing it through anothers eyes amazing what you take for granted in your own city.

I am from the southeast USA, in a rural part of Alabama, between our states 2 largest cities. Close to things but very quite and easy going here. At the led of our lane are pastures and cattle, down the main road I find peach orchards.

Since peaches are our biggest crop, I come bringing a peach cobbler pie, yummy!

Broni - you have gone straight to the top of my favorite list! My last name is the same as your dog - just with an extra 't'!! I don't currently have one, but fully intend to get another one someday. Looks like Bella is a Basset Hound. I had one name Heidi. Check out Denny Taylors page - he is into Bassets. Now all I have is Tipper, she is now 13 and her white tip on tail (hence her name) has been replaced by a white muzzle.

It is wonderful to meet another Basset Hound fan and keeper. They are a mass of muscle and love that few people understand. I seldom consider they live all over this big world. Send me a picture of Bella sometime. She looks so pretty. I have had a lot of Bassets over the years and keep their pictures in a place of honor when they cross the bridge to their painfree playland. If there is a god, he is where the Bassets are. Have a great summer down there. It is getting cold here. By the way, Whast does Santa Claus wear in Australia? I don't suppose he comes in a sled and wearing winter clothing.

Hi Broni! A warm welcome to you from Florida! I love your cute pic of Bella wearing glasses. And oh those long, long ears!! Our lab mix Ebony has turned out to have very short ears & an extra long, very bushy tail. She also has a wonderful sweet personality. Dogs are so wonderful. I can tell you love them, too!

Hi Broni! I'm back to tell you that my daughter & son-in-law in Orlando just brought home a new puppy for their four children. She's a rescue dog, mixed lab & boxer, & they have named her Bella! I will be going over to meet her tomorrow. Hope she's as cute as your Bella!

Broni, how shocking. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your neighbour. The age has brought it a little closer to home for a lot of us around that age. Had been feeling a little flat today but after your sad news, I realise that I was sweating the little things again. They just don't matter in the scheme of things, do they?
