Just read about Nick's asthma attack. How is he now? I know they can be very exhausting, both for the patient AND the carer. Sorry, it had to happen on your birthday weekend, often the way though! Look after him and yourself.

It's been rainy here in California -- a bit unusual for this time of year, but we sure welcome it. Where in Ohio are you? Three of my grandparents were from Ohio - Mt. Vernon & Shadyside (which is on the West Virginia border).

Hi Jill,
It sounds like you didn't get the surgery you were anticipating. Me either. Mine won't happen now until the week of the 15th. I sure wish I could just get it over with. Hope your mouth is better and you got your fill of pudding...with whipped cream of course.

Jill, just wanted to pop in and thank you so much for your comments about my little ballerina. I am really proud of her and seeing her on stage performing always brings a tear to my eye.
I must say young Nicholas is one cute young man, he will break a lot of hearts as he gets older.

Gday Jill, how have you been? Hope the kids are well.
Its been a hectic week here. This weekend was my D#2's 18th, followed rapidly by her driving test today (which she passed, btw) and then next weekend is my son's 23rd birthday! His partner is throwing him a surprise party on Saturday so the 'fun' never stops.

Hear is your treat a packet of chocolate malteses my favorite. I won't be home to give them to you as I have school concert part 2. So have them now.

Jill you were my one and only trick or treater. I even had some packets of sweets by the door just in case. It is not a very big thing in Australia although I have had childen come to the door a few times over the years.

Jill, so glad you stopped by. We're visiting our grandchildren for Halloween. The trick-or-treating is now finished, and our grandson is settling down in a candy-coma... Our little granddaughter is too young to eat candy, but next year she should be going strong. I'm leaving you a lovely bottle of wine from our county. Hope you enjoy.
