They have more to learn, and so many 'what ifs.' You just need to relax and enjoy the ride. Although he was scared going over that hill, as soon as he got to the bottom of the hill, all of the ifs disappeared and he just enjoyed the ride.

Where has everyone been today? USA folks celebrating father's day and paying attention to hubbies and dads today?

Thanks for the birthday wishes, they are each one lovely and much appreciated. I told hubby I get to celebrate 2 days and he just gave me 'the look' heheheh. I do not think he even has a pressie for me. he planned to make me flower pots for my deck. He has made some nice octagonal ones, but either gave away or sold them all but one. i put in a special order for some large but not too deep ones, and I think I saw materials for them go into his shop, but I have not heard any hammering out there yet.

Oh Stella, you must be so proud. His speech has brought tears to my eyes. I know this sounds stupid but I feel proud too. Almost as though I know him.

Do you think he may have made them in secret! Should have only taken 10 minutes for a chippie.

Hi, Everyone!
I don't know if Stella is still here, but I've just been reading about her son's graduation speech. If you've skipped over her posts on the last page, you might enjoy the read!

That's right, Rola. We're just home now. My sister is a beautician, and kindly cut hubby's and my hair so we wouldn't need to make another trip in a couple of weeks. (Yes, we know nearly 5 hours round trip is far for a hair cut, but at least I get to see her every couple of months.)

My sister also tried to 'cover up' some of those unwanted gray hairs that sprout up now and then with a 'semi-permanent' rinse, but it's too dark on my hair (probably because of all the time I spend in chlorine water doing my water aerobics class).

With my luck, the pool water will turn my hair brassy, and I'll need to figure out something to do until I see her again. (This was our first attempt at hiding those unwanted grays, so we didn't know what to expect.)
