Thanks Rola, Antoine, my nephew, lives in France so we have to telephone this evening, and send emails. He & his 8 year old brother are upset with us because they were expecting to see us again soon as it is almost a year since we last went to visit & they though we would come every year (don't I wish)!!

Becky - I think you're right about them being raspberry mousse.
Rola - Antoine will be 12. Would love to be able to go to France every year to visit him & the rest of hubby's family. We did vow that we would go every 2 years, but we do that each time we go and it always ends up being a lot more than 2 years.

Becky, it gets fairly cold here. Yesterday the maximum was 12 degreesC, & I just heard on the radio that that is what it is now (it's not winter yet). Sorry, don't know what that is in Fahrenheit. We certainly don't get anywhere near 0 degreesF.

Would love to have one of those. Neighbors have one to help heat their house. Used to have a kerosene heater until we started getting mold problems. Yuck.

Well ladies , come and visit. Leave your Hot Summers and have a pleasant Winter with us, Jenni gets much colder in Canberra than in Perth.
We have Gas Heater, one in the Lounge Room, and one in the Family Room.

Becky, woodstoves are our main source of heat. We have the one in the livingroom and another in the basement. Sometimes it is hard to regulate the temperature but our only other source of heat would be electricity and that would cost at least $300/month. That's what you get for living in the middle of nowhere.

Another neighbor replaced her fireplace with a gas one. Ended up putting stuff on the hearth to keep the dogs off.

Jenni, my Son #1 went to Sydney (Terrigal) and Canberra for 4 weeks a couple of years ago in the July. Working. Froze in Canberra. Talked him into buying himself some longsleeve T/shirts a couple of days before he left.
