Is Edmonton in your neck of the woods? Brenda from England is visiting there for 3 weeks with her family. She left this morning.

I've had my share of fun with viruses. Some of them can be hard to get rid of.

Hubby did the fixing, although he was not happy because he had other things he had to do. It was hard to get rid of and he had to do some tricky things to do it!

Do you need a passport yet? I heard that was going to be required to cross. It's been many years since I was in Canada.

In January people will need a passport to drive across. I need to get do that soon. My daughter has a friend who lives just across the border from us. She is homeschooled also and they come up here for Guides, baseball, swimming lessons, etc. because it's closer.

We went to Melbourne for the weekend to see our Grandsons (5 and 20 months). They grow up so quickly so we try and see them about 4 times a year. We flew down as it is more economical than driving which takes about 10,to 11 hours non stop.

Sydney had a very wet weekend and for once we had better weather while 'down south'. Actually we have had a lot of rain yesterday and overnight so things are a bit damo underfoot which is very nice for a change. Will save watering the garden for quite awhile.

June, if you had waited until this weekend, you could have joined in the bar tour or party! It must have been nice to see the little ones. My inlaws drove from North Carolina, about 18 hours, just for the graduation. They were only here for just over 24 hours before making the trip back. They do stop half way though.

I went to bed early so then I tend to wake up early and too early to want to do house work etc. Will have to finish making the 25 monks outfits for my daughter today (school Rock Eistedford). They are just about finished. The sewing machines are set up in the sun room and it does not have any heating so tooo cold to go out there just yet (and Dark )
I am sure your inlaws would have enjoyed being with you for the graduation.

I've made costumes over the years but never 25!! That would be too much for me. Angie makes costumes for her kids. The pictures I have seen seem very intricate. Are you all done with your outfit for the wedding?

My daughter who is an art teacher has made the crosses and cords with gold tassels to go around the waist. She is putting the elastic in the necks and attaching the hhods. I am just putting them together with the overlocker (surger i think you call them). It is still taking quite a while though.

I don't know how to sew properly, I just make it up as I go along. That's why the things I make are one of a kind. Even I couldn't duplicate it. Last year I made my daughter's prom dress because she couldn't find one and I made her costume for Beauty and the Beast, she was Belle.
