Sorry, folks, I had a phone call I had to take, hate getting interupted when I am here.

ROLA I tried not clicking updates button after changing avatar, and I got a little box with an X , on ALL my avatars ever posted. Stella's also, only her current rose.

I think that is a word. You've probably set a world record anyway with that many top of the page consecutive posts. It will be a hard record to break!

Maybe that should be the next challenge!?!

STELLA, I keep getting inturupted today, real world in butting in. maybe tomorrow will be better. good to see you posting hereagain, I have missed you.

No matter what I do, ALL mine change when i change avatars. Maybe once Gath gets us all moved to the new site it will return avatar staying with the post.

I have a question for anyone, when you put pictures on flickr, is it bad to put pictures with people in it? My hubby said I should never put pictures of the family, kids or anybody because you don't know who will be seeing them or using them. Has anybody had any bad experiences with it?

Stella, I was told that too. Especially pics with captions identifying the people if you are posting on a public site. Lots of bad people out there

I have posted family photos on my page and have had no bad experiences, not to say that it couldn't happen, but nothing so far.

Thanks Linda, that's nice to know. But now I do wonder if there are strange people out there that search every part of the internet hoping to find something they can get their hooks on. You hear about them on those investigative shows that run sting operations to catch them.

I guess if you post it briefly on this site on your page and then remove it, it would probably be ok.

It seems if there is a way to take advantage, someone will find it. I'm sure there are always people trolling around the internet. The good news is, they never know who they are contacting, and that make for the successful sting ops!!

testing avatars again

MizTricia, how is your avatar testing going? I'm just finishing up a few things before the season finale of Grey's Anatomy.

I'm having a glass of wine because it's been a very frustrating afternoon. My son came home at 5:10 to get ready for his college scholarship interview at 5:40! I told him he should give himself 1/2 hour to get there since my daughter got lost the year before. As he is walking out the door at 5:25, he asks where it is! He was the one who took the phone call so I didn't know where it was. I spent the next 15 minutes calling everyone I could think of while he drove into town to see if he could find it. Boys don't seem to be as responsible as girls. They just don't think ahead. OK, all better now. Thanks!

STELLA, I MISSED GRAY'S tonight! All but the little extra 15 minutes. Hubby had been planning to watch finale of CSI, and had that on, so i did not check what else was on. AAAAGGHHHHH! I will not tell what happened, in case it has not been on in Oz yet. I made out some of what must have happend in the hour I missed, but not all, Oh welll, sometimes over summer there should be reruns.

My avatar testing is not going well. No matter what I do or do not do, ALL my previous posts change to the new avatar. Well, I know changes being made to the site, so after tomorrow ( Suncay down under) I will try again. No more testing tonight.

STELLA, did son get himself to the appointment on time? Did you find where he was to go? I can understand your frustration, for sure. Usually I would say, let him miss the - - - if he did not prpare better than that, but this is a SCOLARSHIP, and would hurt you. Kids, sometimes I almost understand animals that eat their young

Rola, just got back on the puter & feel bad about leaving our conversation on the easy page up in the air, but had to leave. I am still new to this & feel don't like to leave a conversation without finishing. Thought I would leave this message here, you might see it. Am surprised no-one has been here since I was here 8 hours ago!

Is there anybody around this morning? It's gloomy again today. My son made it to the scholarship interview yesterday and this morning he informed me that he forgot to get a corsage for his date for the Prom tomorrow and would I go and order one for him! He also wants my help this afternoon to pick up his tux because he wants to make sure he has everything. I think he's just nervous about the whole thing. I'll take a picture of them so you can see how it turns out.

It's so hard to catch people when there is not a set time. How are you doing, MizTricia? Things are still busy here. Still not organized with my daughter's stuff everywhere.

HI STELLA, yes ,t is harder now, but maybe we can catch up soon. I am out watering my lawn, grass is drought tolerant, but there is a limit
