Sleep deprived.. it was a 'hot Temp' night.. did not sleep well at all.
I think the patient slept well. She is reading at the moment. Will get her up presently and get her dressed for the day.

We have a Christmas Gathering to go to for lunch today, Mum and I will go for a short while. It is with MIL and her sister and the Families, held at Peter's brother's place.

today they predicting 37C.

Greetings friends. It seems I am a member in good standing again. yesterday I was told my subscription had expired. Geee, this happens every 6 months, cause Gath's due date is australian time and Pay Pal auto pay is USA time, I thought he had done a fix on that, guess not.

thought I would say HI before getting me to bed. busy day the last few days. OH, we have SNOW forecast tonight, most unusual for us in alabama. It is still very iffy, might happen, might not. If the temp dropps enough before the rains come, they will come as snow, If not, a cold cold rain. I am not staying up to see if we get snow, guess I can tell come tomorrow morning hehehe.

Talked to Doc/Mike, he's coming for dinner Wednesday, will be here for 2 weeks, Bummer that he'll be going back before Christmas!!! Wish he could stay, he's got no family left (as far as I know--we're the closest he has, us & our friend Terry's family). He's staying with Terry while he's here. I've been having a relaxed evening... watching movies.... after a stressful afternoon. I fired up my tractor to feed hay to the cows. As I was out in the pasture with the cows and hay, my recently repaired tractor quit on me. I can't get it started again. I had to get a neighbor to pull it out of the pasture with his tractor since it had it's hay spears on. I don't want any cows to be accidently impaled by those spears. I'm gonna have to try to get the mechanic out tomorrow.

Went to look at a house today with a friend, she is in the market to buy, so we drove for over an hour to get there and find the place is filthy dirty and stunk, you would think people would make some effort if they wanted to sell up.
Didnt take my friend long to say, not a chance.
so we went out to lunch, at a very nice nursery, come gift shop, and then back to her place.

Nola, I will repeat what I said, I will take her to ALMOST any concert she wants. She knows I draw the line at Tom and Englebert. Although, we threw her a surprise 50th birthday party (years ago) and I had Englebert's picture airbrushed on her cake.

Just dropping in for a quick "hi" and "bye"...
heading off down the mountain for the weekend with my girlfriend in Monterey. We'll be meeting in Davis (just outside Sacramento) and spend the weekend going to the movies and eating out.
Her parents are in Davis, so it makes it worthwhile for her to drive all the way up.

Now, on a serious note: Please keep my dad in your thoughts. He was admitted to the hospital last night with what appears to be a kidney infection. He is a stubborn mule and would not let my mom call the doctor during the day. He waited until it became a trip to the emergency room. They are keeping him for a few days for observation, because of his age. He should be OK in a few days, but appreciate the extra prayers.

I was told when I was in Australia and complaining that there were no Timtams in the states, that Petridge Farms had bought Arnott (or visa versa) so that must be why we are now finally getting the American version. I have to say that I don't notice a difference - they were yummy as ever - "slammed" a few with milk!

Spent tonight out with Pride again. Is there anything else in my life? Aaah! Up early again tomorrow for, guess what, Pride! At least I can sneak some chrissie shopping in as well as they are singing at the markets/swap meet...

Speaking of SA vibes... it hadn't occured to me to ask you guys before, but SA vibes appear to work so I thought I'd ask you now. One of the Pride girls is very sick. She has been in hospital, and although she isn't well yet, keeps showing up for performances. She may end up in hospital again next week if things don't change, so I'm hoping you'll send out some of those magical vibes for her.... she's a typical 16 year old and driving her mother crazy, but a really nice girl too...

It's no good for her or the group to prolong getting better. Hope she takes care of herself as it seems like Pride's popularity is sky rocketing...they need her well!

We had 6 adults and 5 children for lunch yesterday.Nice to be altogether again.Renae made up a plate of salad and cold meat for Josh in hospital.He might come home for a few hours today but will have to go back again,so he is on the mend.Thanks for your well wishes.

I got to say that twice today.. that means I haven't had enough sleep.

Sending thoughts, wishes and hugs to Lizzy, Josh, Bernie, Judy, June's friend, Cyn's sister, the blonde Pride girl, everyone who needs them, and last but not least, Heidi's tractor.

My mom and I want to thank everyone. I saw him a little while ago and he looked a little better. He is on IV antibiotics and he is very sleepy. He will be there for a few days, hopefully home monday or tuesday.

Suzy, I will be keeping the pride girl in my thoughts also. I don't like hearing about kids who are sick. Hope she is better soon.
Thoughts and prayers with all who are not up to par. I hope all is better before the holidays.

I definitely believe in the healing powers of a lot of friends.
