Seeing you were talking of food, I thought I had better get something out of the freezer for dinner. Found some snags!

Hello everyone! I've been reading all my birthday greetings - thank you everyone! Think it will take me a while to answer them all, but I'll get there. :D
My mother missed out on seeing the Queen because of me! All the other patients at the hospital got front row seats to see Her Majesty, but my Mum was ... otherwise occupied. Sad but true. ;)

Broni, one of those dates is insulting, another is depressing, and the other is just plain impossible!

I'm having yet another coffee break. This time I can feel good about my break though - first coat on the rest of the trim is done! And what a pain it was!! Hubby calls windows broken into 6 panels each 'interesting', I call them pains where I sit.

Rolanda, so glad you enjoyed the family gathering. It is always nice to be able to cuddle the little ones.
Broni, thanks for posting the good ole days post.
Heidi, last night was spaghetti night here, tonight we had home made pizza, I think I detect an Italian theme here.
Suzy, what things took longer?
Oh dear, I hate doing windows. Paint, or cleaning either one.

Now I am off to bed. Major achies tonight. Hubby has rubbed my back with capsaicin cream, that is helping some. Tomorrrow will be a better day, I have decided it will.

I'm sorry you are aching MizT. Tomorrow will be better!!!
Delivery costs too much MizT. Much cheaper to pick it up, especially on Tuesdays which is cheap pizza night.

News story of the day: a pink dolphin
http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/759459/rare-pink-dolphin-spotted
This story is cute and cuddly. The other story I keep thinking about is the opposite and I won't post it here so you don't feel as bad as I do.

Hey Suzy, they're not here - they have to work! It's quite ok, I'm happy just sitting around playing with the computer and talking to my friends. :)
I've also been reading the news, which isn't really much fun.

Suzy, loved the pink dolphin story. I think I found the other story you have been thinking about, very sad. Link was on the same page.

Some days it isn't so bad, but there have been too many stories today that made me either sad or really mad. That's why I like the dolphin story.

Here's a fun article. It's about unlearning our 'fear' of being nekkid in public, and why we are not hairy like animals.

Suzy - thanks for the pink dolphin story!
The 'naked in public' one, I stopped reading after it said to imagine standing naked in front of your boss and co-workers - the image was too much information for me - yecchhh!

Now I have a news story of my own - a follow up to the one recently where they were looking for someone to work at Hamilton Island in Qld's Barrier Reef for 6 months at a wage of $150k and only a few hours work a week. Check this out -
