June..... What are "normal symptoms"? No two people react the same way to anything.

I think the main reason I forgot about the Dentist appointment was that I fell asleep and didn't wake up until 45 minutes AFTER I should have left home for the appointment. I found a fantastic Dentist, but she's an hour's drive away, near Fort Knox.

June, and both misdiagnoses were very very serious with potentially life threatening effects. How about throw the test results at them wrapped in a rock???

The appointment was to get my new, permanent, front teeth in. I've still got the temporaries.

Better go. Ken also had Chest Xrays done and has to pick them up which will take over an hour. The see his Doc for injection and be in the city for a work appointment to see an overseas client at 11am.
I am the 'bar maid' at the bowling club this morning (or around lunch time). Anyone for a beer?

Neither Ken nor I drink beer. We do enjoy a wine when dining with friends. I sometimes have a G&T or brandy and dry. We have a cupboard full of drink, lots of it years old. And to think Ken spent over half his life making alcohol for a living!

How ironic!

We don't have spirits in the house. Not a choice we made, just not something we do. Though I have been known to buy hubby the occasional bottle of Chivas Regal for his birthday.

Empty house! I'm going to enjoy a cup of coffee while the machine is running, then go and do my grocery shopping. Woolworths this week as they are giving their profits to the farmers today. Boy will I be glad to go back to my usual, cheaper, shopping routine!

chivas regal was my dad's favourite tipple.
Richard likes single malt whisky.
I like G&T occasionally but we normally drink wine or if celebrating champagne.
Anyone looking in our cupboards would think we were always drinking by the amount of spirits etc we have in them

Just a standard grocery store here Brenda. In the US I think they are/were the same as in Britain, but they closed a long time ago.

I AM FROZEN. It's 27 F ( -3 C) outside, but it's always at least 10 degrees colder up on my little tractor. And it's VERY windy. I had to use the little tractor, because Robert accidentally bent up a wheel rim, and snapped off lug bolts on my big tractor with the heated cab. The new rim won't be in for a couple more days.

Brenda, she thinks she has a bruise on her elbow from bashing it into things... she has a broken blister on her hand, we are sticking a cotton bud with iodine on it up there a couple of times a day... she gets frustrated when she can't do things... other than that, all is good!!

The blister must be sore especially if the cast is rubbing it all the time.

IH and Robert don't like one another... at all. Robert will NOT work for him. So IH has been giving me a hard time about the damage. Or, at least he was until this morning. I got a phone call. But first, a little background.... A couple of weeks ago, the transmission went out on his truck. While the repairs were being done, he rented a truck. Once the repairs were done, he returned the rental, assuring me that he had returned it in the same condition that he rented it in. Now for the phone call this morning. They were looking for IH, who wasn't home. It was the company he rented the truck from. They told me that they had just completed the estimate on all the damage that was done to the rental. It came to over $1,300.00!! They told me that he had let an employee of his drive the rental, and he backed it into a wall. Hard.
...... He's been told to shut up about Robert.

Suzy.... if there's a blister, that means the cast isn't fitting perfectly. And I bet she's frustrated. I've been there. But it won't last forever.

It's not too bad Brenda, bubble wrap under the cast, we've been told that if it starts to hurt, swell, go red etc she may need a new cast. I'm not sure how that will make it any better though!

Heidi, the blister came from the surgery, they found it when they changed the cast last week, covered in waterproof plaster etc. It still managed to burst and weep though. Doc looks on Wed and says it looks good so far.
