I always have my cell phone charger. I have one for the car that is always in the car. I use it as I usually forget to charge my phone in the house so I charge it on my way to work. I am also taking Mitchell's phone and charger as a back up. Actually, I am letting him take his phone.

Cell phone charger is what hubby always forgets. He says it is because he wants to leave the phone charging over night before leaving, so he forgets it in the morning. He bought himself a car charger one trip when he forgot, but that was not really a great solution, cause he was not driving, car was not on to charge the phone. Perhaps I need to buy him a new charger , one for home and one for travel?

I'm letting him take his phone, not because I am nice, but in case we get seperated. He can always call me or the police. Also, if I forget to charge mine, I will have his as a back-up.

Tricia, I would buy him a second charger. We have two for the house and one in each car. My hubby and I have the same phone, so it makes life easy. Mitchell's has a different charger. We keep one of the charger's handy and the other is put away in case it is ever needed.

Heidi, if you let them know about all the damage on your farm and the calving they might give you a postpone jury duty or relieve you of it.

I don't think so, Tami. Just about everyone in the county had serious damage, and a lot of people are calving now. I'm too well known, too. The court clerk is an Angus breeder, and member of the same Cattlemen's Assn. that I am. The only way I could get out of it would be if I was in the Hospital. And I could help the cows even less if I was in the Hospital.

Groceries are bought - I contributed far too much to the farmers this week... Oh well, thems the breaks.
I haven't put them away yet, other than the frozen/refrigerated stuff, but figure they will still be here when I get home from bowling and coffee. That way I can check the internet for any more exciting news...

It's about a hospital in PNG raising money for the Victorians because a Victorian medical team helped them after a tsunami... very touching.

Friendly Sudokuaholics! I have NO idea where the day has gone. It's 10:30 p.m. and my first chance to get here today. I still have 20 pages to read, but need to think about an earlier-than-usual bedtime, as I have a very early get-up in the morning. Positive thoughts are flying around the globe to all of you! I hope to get here for a while tomorrow. Good night!

I did not have to be a bar maid so went and did my shopping (like Suzy, to help the farmers) and then went and met Dino. We had a lovely visit in a small cafe near where she is staying. I did have my camera but did not take any photos. You have all seen photos of us both.
I told her you had all said to say Hello! and she appreciated the greeting.
Dino is indeed a lovely lady.

Four large fires continue to burn across Victoria as authorities warn the threat of new fires will be high this weekend.
The warning came as the death toll from the devastating February 7 firestorm rose by one, to 209, with an additional death confirmed in Kinglake.
Fire authorities on Friday said the bushfire threat remained high, with no significant rain forecast and fuel loads continuing to dry out.
