Tricia was going to bed but I see she is still about. You asked about Laura's Op, yes is this coming Wednesday. Guess I will have another busy week after that as Sharon will still not be able to dress or lift her so I guess they will both be here.

Morning Sudoluland.
June, Last night, I was signed on to the site twice and did not see the second tab for a while when signing off computer for the night. Did I at last get signed off? I put computer in sleep mode, but hope I had signed out first. I was not lurking all night, promise.
GAIL, when is the next Royal show? We will mark it on calendars and remind you NEVER AGAIN hehehe.
BRONI, hope the Saturday meet up goes very well, all others have so far. It would be so nice to meet some of you. when I win the lottery, I am coming down there, you know.
ROLANDA, at least this babbling brook was UNDER the house! not in the loo like the memorable one of that name. Hubby is now talking about re-plumbing the whole house, something that should have happened about 10 years ago, under a class action law suit settlement. I was on the list, but company declared bankruptcy fore they got to me, bummer!

Tricia, very quiet here tonight. I have dropped by a few times but nobody about.
Suzy has gone shopping. Gail probably exhausted after her day at the Show.
Heidi is probably resting and she will need plenty of that to recover her glangular fever.
Brenda has a lot on her plate.

I think I might make the most of having an early night. Only the cat to wake me during the night. She soon moves back in during the night once Laura has gone home.

Busy beavers here since I last posted! I have not read to catch up, but wanted to report in on Mike's surgery from yesterday...and thank you for all your prayers and well wishes.
Poor guy had to wait an extra 3 hours to get into surgery as they had something that backed up the surgery list. He was suppose to have his surgery at 10 am (no food or water since about 6 pm the night before)...and they didn't take him in until 1 pm! We were there at 8 am, so it was especially long for him. The surgery went well. I got him home around 5 pm yesterday and he has been sleeping most of the time since. The doctor said everything went well. He is all wrapped up in a soft cast and is having to deal with his non-dominant left hand for everything.
Will keep you posted!

Haven't read all the back log, but happy to hear Heidi has a diagnosis and a relatively nice one...just needing time and rest - thank God!
MzT - sorry to hear about your water troubles. We had a major leak earlier this year tnat we had to find under 300' of woods between the house and the meter. Keeping good thoughts for you and Al getting the upgrade made.

VICI, so glad you are back home with hubby and his surgery is over. That was a long wait for surgery! And a long time with nothing to drink. Whatever happened to nothing by mouth after midnight? what we always did in hospital for morning surgery and some of those started at 6:30 am! well, you were on clear liquids, but still a bit of something wet at least.
Hope the hand heals nicely and quickly for Mike.

Vici I am so glad that things went well for Mike.
Rolanda I don't get too fussed until I get Lachies birthday out of the way [next Wednesday] and then I start thinking about what should be done....
Have made a few decisions.....
1. it is too late to worry now about last years Christmas cards....
2. I think a quiet day at home is in order this year...there has been far too much hype for too many years...
3. A casual smörgåsbord on Boxing day for any one who wants to attend sounds like the order of the day...a big garden party....all welcome provided they do not arrive empty handed [good Oz tradition...bring a plate / bottle: full in either case]
4. No presents...I have everything I need and all the things I want are well and truly out of the price range of anyone I know!
5. Hunt around and rewrap any left over presents from last year....I always end up buying heaps more stuff than I need 'just in case'...
6. Clean out the freezer between now and December so I can stock it with goodies and try and find the dining room table [hidden under a mountain of boxes at present]
7,8,9,10 are still in the planning phase....
BTW...any sudokuites in town are welcome to drop in for a drink....

Morning MzT! He could eat and drink up to 10 pm, but ate dinner around 6 and went to bed early that night. Poor guy, I need to check on him, but don't want to wake him. He went to sleep last night around 7 pm and I haven't heard a peep from him since. Normally he's a light sleeper, so I didn't want to open his door and wake him. Will probably check if he doesn't show his face by 7.

Picked up a lighter shade of paint for the master bath while I was waiting for Mike. Realized I couldn't stay with that bold of a color. Too chicken! Speaking of chicken, it's good to hear word about CynB and Colin on the Easy page.
