MizT, I thought it was amazing that the whole footy team can streak down the main street without getting arrested! That's country town life for you... An experience my niece will always remember.

It is difficult to find a doc here too Suzy, and the one I found, I have to wait hours even when I have appointment! never gbeen out in less than 2-3 hours so far.

Well I have to leave too. Ebob has dragged herself out of bed and although her temp seems to be under control, it is still not normal and her other symptoms seem to be getting worse. I will call and try to get her in today....

We don't need a docs note for school absences unless they are for more than a couple of days. Even then there is flexibility in cold and flu season. It might be different for kids who miss a lot of school, I don't know...

I think it is because so many children miss so much here, too many people thing they can keep a child out when they want too, and systems loosing money when attendance is not good. So everyone must be treated the same, as if they were irresponisble parents. It is a touchy subject here.

Hope you get the appointment Suzy and hope it is something easily treated. Want Miss Ebob back to fine health and soon!

we don't need dr.s note here either. thank goodness. my washing machine was down for 2 days and i ran out of pants for my henry(6). i kept him home and he ran around in his underwear all day. that night i ran and bought him some cheapy jeans and the next day he was a school while i caught up with the laundry, doing 6 loads! ugh.

there sure is a lot of running in that last post. oh well. can't fix my writing now! i wish we could edit our own posts after we post them. there sure is a lot of posting in this post. hmmm... maybe i should go eat something sweet to get me out of the sillyness.

Nah, Mariana, we love you silly or not. Of course, any excuse for something sweet!

OK, Ladies.... Rayray finally posted a recent picture of himself! But it was taken without his top dentures, so he looks like Robin Williams. I think he did that intentionally!

I'm back. Ebob has atypical pneumonia, also called walking pneumonia. Not the nasty kinds, thank goodness. Antibiotics and a day or two off school. That sounded kind of tough so I will go with how she is going. Waited forever in the waiting room! Afterwoods I left her reclining in the car while I got her prescription filled. We walked in the front door and she walked straight to her room and fell asleep. Guess the meds will have to wait until she wakes up.

Suzy... I had that once. Not fun. TLC is always appreciated.

Broni should be back on Wed, she has been a little laid-up for a while again.

I don't know the name of the pneumonia I had four years ago, except that it was the kind my insurance company would pay for three days of hospitalization. They apparently needed the money, because after I declared myself well and ready to go home after the first night, they took my clothes. (My neighbor is the head nurse and did it as a joke on me. I was not amused.)

The kind I had was Pleurisy. Walking Pneumonia. I was on my own, at college, so I got no care or treatment until it was almost over. I never want to go through that again.

It's about 1 am here, so I'm going to head off to bed.
