Trica, while you are studying the different star in the sky you might notice a very bright one up above which is actually the planet Jupiter. If you borrow Broni's binolulas you might even be able to see the moons of Jupiter.

Broni, what is the water temperature? I have been in the galley and sliced up a whole basket of peaches for the party. they are soo juicy, I have juice dripping from my hands! also off my chin, from sampling s i work. Maybe a fast dip would take care of that. I will NOT try diving off the flying bridge, not tonight!

the ones this year are so very good! everything must have been good conditions for them, even though we did have some late spring frosts. I think this year, the frosts just thinned the peaches and saved paying laborers to go through and do it! also, we have had rain, it takes rain to make a juicy peach. these are perfect, just sweet enough no need to add sugar!

We have been having a big bowl of peaches at night for our desert, with a tiny scoop of ice cream and nothing is yummier! Half way through my second basket of peaches this year already!

We do believe in supporting the local farmers, you know! These are still the early peaches, here many different varieties are planted, on the same big farms even. they have " pick your own" sections even, and try to have peaches ready to pick from late may all the way through August, by having different varities planted.

Thought I would be smart and take a photo of Jupiter and put it on my page but not much sense of a black page with a small white dot in the middle.

Actally you will probably be able to see Jupiter yourself at night at the moment. It is very bright in the night sky and 'rotates' around like the sun and the moon.

I think Broni and the other are fighting over those 6 bunks below. I might just curl up on deck and have a snooze under the stars.

In charge of the boat, OH WOW. Broni, I do hope you have her anchored securely! And no showers or storms approching, I would have to practice my "boat talk", ALL HANDS ON DECK, Batten down the hatches, Steady as she goes!

This reminds me of the "last to post" contest. off to do STUFF then checking back into the boat party!

I have been putting off sort ing my closet, today is a good day. Finding all my "sun protective" clothing, longer sleeves and higher necks, for when the UV is so dangerously high.

Yesterday mid day, we had 11, on a scale of one to 16, and 16 normally only seen at higher altitudes with reflection from snow. 11 is said to be in the very dangerous catagory. I know it actually HURTS my exposed skin to be in it!

So even though so much damage was done early in my life, ( and our family was more careful than most about sun damage and preventing sunburn) I am now protecting skin from sun. the damage is cumalative, and i just imagine all those not yet spots sitting there under the skin, damaged to the point where only another 20 minutes of exposure to UV and they will pop up as pre cancerous or basal cell. Wearing protective clothing cannot hurt you know!

June I love Lindt chocolate, but the one I really love the most I cannot get in England. I wonder if any of you have tried it. It's Lindt's coriander and cinnemon balls. A friend who lives in Switzerland used to bring it over for me on special occassions.

HI RENA, good to see you. You could have got the nice young men in the coast guard to give you a ride out to the boat! anyway, glad to have you aboard.

you might need some coffee to warm you up, wind is a bit chilly for being wet, the coffee/tea is on as usual.
