Well another beautiful day out here, going to be 27c or 81f today so don't forget the sunscreen. Might take a trip over to Sth Stradbroke Island and stop at the Little Ship Club for lunch, hopefully my friend John the oyster man may have some fresh oysters straight off his lease for us. Mmmmm oyster shooters sound good.

I shall get to wear my new RED straw hat today with the brim out past my shoulders. It should have it's own zip code! After hubby toldme yesterday i looked like the wicked witch of the west in my black coverup and straw hat, figured I needed something a bit brighter. He approved, said it was kind of cool ( how long since that was the thing to say??)

We can always ask June, it was good of him to check up on us.
MizT shot glass with a mixture of tomato juice, vodka, dash of tabasco and a grinder of pepper. Pop the oyster in the glass and pour over the mixture....a meal and a drink all in one.

Hey MizT, not me, Mamacita! Even though it is still quite pleasant out here just received the latest update on the weather:
FORECAST FOR MORETON BAY A strong wind warning has been issued for Saturday.
Friday until midnight: NW/SW winds 10/15 knots, gradually increasing to 20/25 knots. Seas to 0.7 metres, rising to 1.3 metres. Isolated showers in the afternoon.
So unless you want a rough wet trip back ladies we best pack up and head off, would not want to spoil your trip.

We will head back around the top opf Peel Island, hopefully the dolphins will play in the wake of the boat to keep us amused. Quite a few sail boats with their colorful sails are out now due to the increasing wind, tacking this way and that. I can see a few red noses, is that from the sun or the drink? hehe!

Love those dolphins, Broni! If we find them, dare we dive in & join them in swimming for a few minutes? It would be such a great experience to top of a wonderful jaunt on the Calliope!

P.S. That last post of mine took just seconds - SO MUCH BETTER than yesterday!

I have been sewing all morning and feel very stiff across the shoulder. I have bags of tops and bags of skirts all different sizes. I now have to match the bust size of the different girls to their height and then sew the tops and bottoms together. I think there is still a coulpe of tops and a skirt to be cut out!
And we are about to collect Laura from child care and I will have her till tomorrow night.
I feel exhausted before I start!
