Oh she doesn't need to see that anywhere else but at home. Stevenage is known as the capital city of teenage pregnancies. If you don't have at least a couple of kids by the time you are 18 you are 'strange'

Ouch Brenda! Locally people have kids young too. I am years older than most of my daughters friends' parents. In Sydney I am about average...

Yeah I wasn't sure at first as I started soon after the op and did not know how I should feel, but after coming back from Melbourne and going last week the difference in the pain level I was experiencing was amazing.

Good god girl where have you been? I was rushed into hospital early May, they thought it was my appendix (3 doctors diagnosed it) but it turned out to be an abdominal infection, so they had to flush me out so to speak and still do not know what caused it, I am a medical mystery!

I didn't realise that it hadn't been your appendix Broni. I thought the infection you had was something you picked up after the op.

Skulking off to the naughty chair for forgetting something so significant. Now that my brain has turned on again I remember worrying along with everyone else. What is up with me! This is really becoming a worry! Is 44 old? Can that be my excuse?

No 44 isn't old, that would make me ancient at 53. I don't feel old (only when the arthritis is playing up)

Sooooo have you heard that a nuclear war is starting tomorrow? Or is the day after since 'Buffalo Bill' is in the US? Seems he predicts it for every 2 years or so.

Had any rain yet Gail?
We are supposed to be having a hot sunny day today, but the sky is a dull gray and looking very much as if we will get rain.

Son and I were discussing the amount of Alcohol we have in the house. Three cupboards full of spirit, wine etc and a fridge full of beer. He seems to think we have too much. What he doesn't realise is that some of the spirits have been in the cupboard for years unopened. Some of the wine (bubbly) is vintage and worth more unopened than we paid for it and some of the beers (in cupboard) are meant to be kept for years for them to mature in the bottle. If we get through a couple of bottles of wine a week we are lucky.
