Trying to work but only half heartedly vdV I worked a long day yesterday and am taking most of today easy. Have to take the dog to the vet in a few minutes to get an eye problem sorted out

well, looks like I missed everyone, drats! had to check and see if any were still about.

I got my results today, and i have 4 BCC. Said they were small, all 4 will com off same time in 2 weeks. she said it will much like the biopsy was, require no more novicain than the biopsy did, will take doc about 3 to 5 min to do them ALL, once she has me numbed and ready. This will be a LOT easier than before! I could have had appointment in one week, but I have my physical from my primary care doc that day. I still cannot be in 2 places at one time, for some reason, as hard as I try.

OK, back to read the messages I missed, after I do a bit more of the STUFF I need to do and have some breakfast, I forgot to eat this morning.

OMG, I don't believe it. It was actually snowing this morning when I got up. It quit soon after but their were snow flakes falling. What a storm last night. Lightning, thunder, hail, and rain. Power had gone off but was back on when I woke up. Phone isn't working, will have to see about that later.

MizT, forgive my ignorance but what does BCC stand for? I hope it isn't bad.

Rolanda, I hope Stephen did well on his exams.

RENA, BCC is basal cell carcinoma , skin cancer. If you have to have cancer this is the beat one, if best and cancer can ever be put in same sentence! Slow growing, no not spread by blood stream or lympth to other sites. Just need to have them removed fore they get bigger and grow into some other ajoining tissue.
these are small and will be sort of scooped out and then an electric needle to seal off the blood vesssels. Being a cancer, they are highly vascular, fancy way of saying they have a LOT of blood vessels feeling them.

So, no, it is not really bad, more of a something to get taken care of and go on abut your merry way. and NO you are not ignorant. I should have been more clear about this. I have chatted, IMed and private messaged about this with several and forget what I actually put on SA5 and what was in those,

Hi Everyone...Bronti...I'm getting packed and will be there with bells on for the sail...Wonderful Wonderful!!!
Actual temp here is 96 degrees at 2 in the afternoon, with the heat index, it feels like 105...Made me wonder since I didn't have an air conditioned home until I was 30 years old...how did we function during extreme heat back then??? I always had a clean home, freshly washed and ironed clothes despite the temp. Never missed a home cooked meal and we socialized too...air conditioned movies were high on our list of entertainment...and we had to carry sweaters because we'd get cold inside ...and it would last a while. Love making didn't suffer either...HMMMMMMM???? How Did We Do It? Just makes me more grateful for my current amenities....and I'm glad to be able to afford to be confortable...I really feel badly about those who must suffer due to lack of health or money.

Well since its so hot....

A nice cool drink would be nice......

What should it be......Lemonade? Iced Tea???
